I agree as well.. Bryant is young, and he's looked strong in the time he's played.
He's 29 years old. He's basically a tricky guy like Anthony Armstrong, making us think he's younger then he really is.

I hope hes back next year. It seems like he played all year with this injury and strugled coming back from his ACL, so hopefully he is given a shot next year to show how he does if hes fully healthy.
OR we could switch back to the 4-3 and not stress over filling the nose tackle

Shanahan is one of those guys who doesn't see the need to wait years just to hope his own pet will "develop". Kemo will likely say bye-bye to the Skins.

Philip Daniels is a CLASS ACT. If he retires, the Washington Redskins would do themselves a favor by hiring him to work with the team in some capacity - - particularly if they want to mentor young players in what it takes to be an NFL player.
No way would I say "Good riddance" to him. More like "Vaya con Dios..."

This sucks b/c I really hope we can stop the Giants RB's and play spoiler to keep them out of the playoffs.
If I were optimistic about the upcoming draft and players on the team I'd say this season couldn't end soon enough.

Funny how we always talk about the offensive line being neglected year after year.
The D-line has seen even less draft-related action. Before taking Brian Orakpo last year, there hasn't been a defensive linemen drafted by this team in the 1st, 2nd, 3rd, or 4th round since 1997 with Kenard Lang. It's been other teams' castoffs, free agents, or long shots taken in the 5th round or later that we've been relying on.
More proof of the defensive implosion that was bound to happen sooner or later.

But ... but ... but...
You forget that Danny Boy went out and bought Dana Stubblefield and Big Daddy Wilkensen to play on the DL. And then he got Bruce Smith. And then he got Albert Haynesworth. With all that talent, who needs to draft defensive linemen? :frusty:

Anyone know of potential free agent Nose Tackles? God knows we'll have enough money to bring one in should they become available and even though I'm not to crazy about trying to fill every hole with free agents the fact remains that the Nose Tackle hole is a huge one and unless we can find a diamond in the rough there will be virtually no viable solutions come draft day. Unless of course you're simply looking for rotation players.

Doesn't look like a whole lot is there:
'09 Team is second from right column. '10 Team is far right column.
