At his age? Isn't he Joey Galloway era? I think my grandfather used to tell me stories about watching him play when he was a kid.

This draft is definitely weaker towards the top with offensive linemen.

Last year, at 4-12 our defense was still top 10-12, and one year later we are 28-31. There is definitely some to blame on the coordinator when we didnt lose a whole lot on defense.

Well, that's the thing -- we DID lose a whole lot on defense: Good performances from the players; namely Kedric Golston, Maake Kemoeatu, and Rocky McIntosh. Losing Landry didn't help matters this year, either.

And let's not make last year's D into the 2000 Ravens. Yes, they were good statistically, but not in terms of takeaways or stopping opponents when they absolutely had to. Some of the decline we've seen this year can be traced back to changes in scheme, and some mistakes with coaching, but by far I'd say it's performance related. The guys up front just aren't that good.

Well I was just talking about flat out playing. Unlike virtually every other position where you can at least contribute with special teams QB's during Super Bowl runs QB's are practically chained to the sidelines. It's nice to be on a winning team but if you're not even getting on the field it's excruciating.

Then again if you're hanging on trying to build a little wealth then fewer jobs are better then getting six figures for holding a clip board while the QB on the field runs not only from defenders but the media as well.

Resign Grossman to a 1 year extension and let him start next year and keep letting Beck develop as a backup qb. Unless the SKINS can get Luck (no trading away picks anymore either) they should not draft a qb this year. We need a lot of help at the other positions on this roster before we are going to be able to win.

I said keep developing him as a BACKUP QB. That means 2nd string you can be 33 and be a solid back up QB, actually you want our backup to be a little older and more experienced.

i'm sorry to say. but i think it will be grossman. why else would they be giving him the opportunity now
