I think McNabb is done here.he will be traded or released.Grossman and Beck will be here in the off season.the first round pick in the 2011 draft should be a QB like Ryan Mallett,Jake Locker or Nick Foles.all these guys are big and have rocket arms.if the rookie is ready,he should start.

Nick Foles plans to return to Arizona Wildcats in 2011 (http://www.azcentral.com/sports/ua/articles/2010/12/17/20101217arizona-wildcats-nick-foles.html)

Well at least you listed a potential first round pick unlike some other people around here (*Cough* Kellen Moore *Cough*)

That's a dirty move Dirtbag. Well the way I see it, everything else we have done to try and find a franchise QB has failed. What do you have against him?

Per Shanahan, McNabb is either a liar or even dumber than we all thought (no 2nd overtime?). However, he has an opportunity to compete for a backup job in 2011.

Redskins Insider - Shanahan would welcome McNabb as a backup next year (http://voices.washingtonpost.com/redskinsinsider/donovan-mcnabb/shanahan-would-welcome-mcnabb.html#more)

You know, after the Haynesworth fiasco, i honestly think Shanahan would pay 17MM to keep McNabb as a backup in 2011 if no one meets our trade demands.

It's classic he said/she said BS that goes on anytime a relationship is on the rocks.

If there's a cap next year, I don't think it makes much sense to keep him as a backup at that figure.

If I avoided dirty moves I would never win, kind of like Kellen Moore throwing directly into tight windows.

Certainly would have enough cap space to afford it.

• RB Clinton Portis: -$5,645,500
• LB London Fletcher: -$4,900,000
• QB Donovan McNabb: -$4,750,000
• CB DeAngelo Hall: -$4,400,000
• DT Albert Haynesworth: -$3,400,000
• C Casey Rabach: -$3,000,000
• NT Ma'ake Kemoeatu: -$2,500,000
• OG Derrick Dockery: -$1,565,000
• DE Adam Carriker: -$1,420,000
• OG Artis Hicks: -$1,400,000
• DE Phillip Daniels: -$1,250,000
• DE Vonnie Holliday: -$1,250,000
• TE Fred Davis: -$555,000
• DE Andre Carter: $2,909,998

Carriker, Davis, Fletcher, and Hall are all but guranteed to come back. Ma'ake and God forbid Rabach are probably coming back. Still the cuts would come on top of a projected $30 million of cap space.

He must be too bad at seeing as he has over 70 TDs and 8 INTs in two years...

Assuming we could afford it, i'd say keep him as a backup, atleast through the preseason. At some point, a QB would get hurt and come begging for McNabb.

Back in 2005 I had a friend that told me I was stupid when I said that Jason White would probably be a late second day pick. White had won a Heisman while throwing for 75 TD's and 7,000 yards the previous two years against Big XII competition. White went undrafted.

Back in 2003 I was a wide eye kid that couldn't understand why one of my favorite QB's Ken Dorsey wasn't going to be a first round pick. He had 76 TD passes, a national championship, and a 38-2 record as a starter. Dorsey was a 7th round pick.

Colt Brenanan in his final two years, playing against the same programs as Kellen Moore threw 96 TD passes.

I have no problem drafting Moore next year as a late round project. However making him Plan A and anointing him as our QB of the future is just insane.

So? Throw all the stats at me you want. None of those scrubs are Kellen Moore! Therefore your argument is invalid. lol
