skinsfaninok 12-21-2010, 08:55 PM I WANT KELLEN MOORE. he is the real deal and could be around in the 3rd-4th round. he stays in the film room, knows the game in and out, makes great coverage reads, and is extremely accurate. lastly, he's a winner.
I've always liked Moore BUT he doesn't play against the best talent every week, that's a big deal.. I still think he's better than guys like Ponder and Nick Foles.
Dirtbag59 12-21-2010, 09:49 PM Kellen Moore is now officially the ultimate man crush. The Cult of Colt in it's prime could only dream of the following this 6'0 man from Idaho has developed. More power to him if he succeeds but history suggest that he's probably nothing more then a really good college QB who might be a decent backup at the NFL level. Certainly not the type of guy you bring in for Plan A.
GTripp0012 12-21-2010, 10:20 PM Best way I can describe Kellen Moore as a pro prospect is a way the anti-Tebow draft crowd tried to paint Tim Tebow as not being a pro-quarterback. That group was underselling Tebow as a pro player, but that's actually who Kellen Moore is: he doesn't really look the part, doesn't really play in a pro offense, doesn't have the arm for the position, etc. But he completed a ton of college passes for an elite program and won a bunch of games at that level.
Moore is not going to be drafted in the first round like Tebow was, obviously, but he does a couple of things very, very well. At some point late in the draft, he'll be worth a look

I agree with your assesment GT, but the thing about Moore not having the arm is dead wrong. Whenever I have seen him on TV that kid can throw one helluva bomb like 60yds in the air mulitple times. The big beef with moore is the same thing with Colt. He didn't play anybody half decent and when he did(TCU) he got his ass handed to him. If TCU destroys Wisconsin in the Rose Bowl I won't knock on BSU so bad, but right now it is Colt and Hawaii all over again. That being said I would still pick Moore over Newton. That kid has jackass written all over his face.
SmootSmack 12-21-2010, 11:11 PM Local Radio suggest the skins are interested in trading for Matt Schaub? Have u heard anything like this SS, could that actually happen?
Schaub, really? Based on what, the Kyle relation? Interesting, I would think Cowher would want him in Houston but them again maybe he wants to start fresh

Cowher? Lol you know something we dont? JK I'm pretty sure Coughlin will be back in NY, I mean why fire him? The guy wins 10 games every season it seems like.
Yea some say Schuab could be that surprise trade in the offseason.. I doubt they trade him honestly but I think we could look at it.
GridIron26 12-22-2010, 12:11 AM Not sure if Schaub will have same success in here with our O-line and not so good WR corp.. We don't have Andre Johnson, whom is Schaub's best friend.
drew54 12-22-2010, 12:33 AM If we are considering Schaub, I think we should consider Peyton Manning, or Tom Brady.

Hell, I'd even say look into Montana, Marino, Elway or Young if you are going that direction :cheeky-sm

They'll still be grading him on tape from this past year. That game, not such much.
I'll defer to you on the strength of his arm.
