The fact that he has gained his coaching experience under Parcells and Sparano and is a solid coach is what's appealing. I guess the same could be said about McCardell whom I don't recall having any previous experience and is doing a decent job. I mean he doesn't have a good track record anyway and I wouldn't mind seeing him go but would that even be fair? I think we should have stuck with the 4-3 until you have the draft picks to get the talent you need to pull off a new defensive scheme. What do I know though right?
