so it looks like they will be playing the vikings bears game on a frozen sheet of ice, there will be over 10,000 fewer seats that the metrodome, and oh yeah no booze in the game or even allowed in the parking lot. and one more thing the seating is first come first served, that just sounds like hell.

Should be interesting. I'll def. be watching the game on Monday night just to see what it looks like. If the Vikes start Joe Webb I'd put money on the Bears to win lol. I also want to see what it's going to be like playing on that field. Maybe this will be the push the Vikings need to get a new stadium built.

Interesting about the Minny game.
The Colts have offered their dome for the game but the NFL is determined to do it at the U of M field. Joy.....rock hard field in 14 degree weather.

So, they toss out fine after fine for dangerous looking hits, but sure as hell doesn't mind frostbite and the like for its players. Way to ****ing go, Goodell.

Is it really that suprising? The NFL has a lot of problems, inconsistency with flags/fines/suspensions for one, and it has made plenty of stupid decisions over the years. The decision came down to play in Minny for the fans, or play in Indy for the players. No suprise they picked the fans, they don't care about the players if your name isn't Manning or Brady.

If the NFL worried about frostbite they would have to move games from Green Bay, Chicago, Cleveland, Buffalo and Foxboro every year... Maybe even from Cincy, Pittsburgh, Philly and NYC once in a while.
That's why they are not worried about frostbite.
Arrrgh!

The NFL needs more snow games. Cut the roof off the Metrodome and tell the fans to dress warmly.
They've played games in worse conditions that 14 degrees.
Frostbite? Really
