McNabb's indecisiveness on the half slide/fumble play may have been the worst play that I've seen him make, EVER. He was late spotting open receivers downfield, yet still could have fallen down for the first down. Simply terrible.
"Simply Terrible" is the description of a mindset and a portion of the culture Shanahan has been charged with changing. Have The Washington Redskins Really Changed The Culture Under Mike Shanahan? - SB Nation DC (http://dc.sbnation.com/washington-redskins/2010/12/6/1858606/redskins-vs-giants-recap-mike-shanahan-culture-change)
The only question that now remains is, will he be given the time minus the highly charged and negative scrutiny that comes from losing, to get done what needs to be done to get this team back on track.

GT, great job as always.
You said that we've become much better in zone coverage & that we played more man this game. Hall then folllowed Manningham until he got deep enough for the safeties? Manningham did get open a couple times but Hall had safety help to take the angle away. I don't know if that was by design or Hall was beaten by a step or two?
I thought that Orakpo had a noteworthy game. On the first td he clearly didn't keep contain & he almost looked like he was jogging the play out, then he gets blocked & jacobs cuts back for 6 on his side. He seemed to wake up from that & I noticed him pursuing down the line to make plays on the other side of the field more. He doesn't seem like a vocal leader, but in terms of leadership by example, I think he will be key to the d in that regard next year & hopefully long after. He's one of the few players on the team that seems to really hate losing. On that cutback TD, Orakpo did not do a good job keeping contain, but it also didn't help that Travis Beckum put not just one, but two hands in his back and shoved him to the inside.
Hall had safety help all day, but the corners were pretty much responsible for everything outside the numbers in this game, so he did his job. Our only incorrect assumption was that Manningham was the only dressed receiver who could beat us.

Curious as to what you disagree with? Antrell Rolle?
Don't really have alot of time right now but one quick thing ....Tripp says "Donovan's decision making was poor all day.".....I disagree........I was at the game and as much as I dislike MacNabbb he was being hounded and pounded all day.....under the situatuion he did well.tripp assume's alot about the intentions and responsibilities of the players while not knowing exactly what they are in certan situations and while I certainly understand he's a Redskin fan doesn't know the minute details of the Skins or the Giants.
P.S.
.........and yeah he is dead wrong about this......" FS Antrel Rolle is a bad player having a bad year who was bad in this game and tried many times to let the Redskins right back into the ball game."

I'm not sure anything I've written would require the knowledge of the minute details. When the Skins run left to the weakside behind Trent Williams, I have no idea what they call that play. I know what I would call the play, but that's not really relevant to what I write. In that case, not knowing specific details doesn't really make a difference.
Specifically speaking, McNabb wasn't really hounded all day. He was sacked four times, but that was maybe half, or 40% of the entire time they got near McNabb for the day. If you're the Giants, you absolutely love that ratio, because the pressure you were getting on McNabb was turning into lost yards and ended drives, but that's hardly being hounded. The pocket was pretty clean on most throws, especially the drops. Those drops weren't last ditch throws that ended in a harmless incompletions, they were well executed passing plays until they hit the WR (or TE, or FB) in the hands.
Antrell Rolle has made a number of horrific plays for the Giants this year, which I'm sure you are familiar with, but a lot of my opinion on him has to do with his disaster days in Arizona, well before you guys signed him. In other words, he's your Adam Archuleta: highest paid safety in the division, and getting less time at safety than both Phillips and Grant.

I guess I saw a few different things in the Skins/Giants game:
I saw a patchwork Giants' OL with two starters on the sidelines and their first replacement nowhere in evidence open humongous holes in the Skins' defense. Bradshaw and Jacobs combined to run the ball for 200 yards.
I saw a LOT of "matador tackling" by Skins' defenders.
I saw the Giants do business on Philip Buchanon. (They did as much business there as a hooker at the National Horny Guys Convention.) They got 8-10 yards whenever they needed it wherever they were on the field.
I saw the offensive line provide plenty of protection when there were six blockers and four rushers.
I saw why Mike Sellers should be looking for work in the off-season.
I saw that the OL - - with Trent Williams out or playing with a handicap - - is really sub-standard.
I did not see a game where the majority of the Skins' players put forth a lot of extra effort nor did I see a game that might lead me to believe that the Skins are just a player of two away from being a "competitive factor" in the NFC East and the NFC in general.

The more I see of Kareem Moore the more I wish I could see how Sean Taylor played in Haslett's defense. He would've been the perfect free safety with his range, his love of solid tackling and hard hitting when the time is right, and him being a ballhawk. GD it. It's times like when I see Kareem Moore make a half assed tackle on a wideout/running back/tight end while being the last line of defense that really makes me miss S.T. out there. Kareem is not a bad football player, he just needs to see the field less often.
