Yes I'm sure this is all just to distract everyone.
AH has been an ongoing problem since MS got here in case anyone forgot.

SouperMeister 12-08-2010, 06:05 PM I agree Matty, look I don't like Snyder as a owner ...never have but give the man his due. He finaly hired the right team to run the team for him and he's doing exactly what he should ...sit back and let the GM and Head coach handle this mess.I agree that we have the right man to clean up, but unfortunately, this Snyder/Cerrato created mess has set the team back 2-3 years. The offensive line is no better now than it was opening day 2009. Surely, some of that $36M thrown away on Haynesworth could have been used to build a very adequate O-line by now. And now with Haynesworth on his way out so early in his contract, how much dead cap money will the team be burdened with next year? I really wish that we would stockpile and build through the draft, augment with modest FA signings (think Fletcher), and stop chasing the biggest names. Defensewins 12-08-2010, 06:29 PM Yes I'm sure this is all just to distract everyone. AH has been an ongoing problem since MS got here in case anyone forgot. I am kidding, I know AH was not punished to deflect from our horrid play. But it is having that effect. It is an AH feeding frenzy and very little mention of our play as a team. The Giants game feels like weeks ago. I'll be curious to see if the players rally around Shanahan and play well this weekend. I hope so. Longtimefan 12-08-2010, 06:43 PM Just a little of what Albert had to say in response. Haynesworth 'sick' of constant strife (http://www.csnwashington.com/pages/landing?blockID=367839&tagID=63062) It seems like he is making excuses. I heard the whole interview and kept saying he just wanted to play. He is the one that said he talked to the coaches and said he would be better out of the 3-4 scheme and they said OK. He also stepped aside and let someone else take his starting position. If you really just wanted to play you would have never stepped aside.I think he is just trying to save face to bad for both sides. CRedskinsRule 12-08-2010, 07:11 PM Just a little of what Albert had to say in response. Haynesworth 'sick' of constant strife (http://www.csnwashington.com/pages/landing?blockID=367839&tagID=63062) I am guessing that most everyone here that reads that will feel the same, that is a guy who just doesn't get it. I would add that he almost made it sound like he was calling on Dan Snyder to intervene: "Let’s concentrate on playing football, which is what we’re paid to do and win games. That’s what Mr. [Dan] Snyder wants, that’s what I want, and hopefully that’s what other people want.” Hopefully, what Mr. Snyder wants is for AH to do what the coaches tell him to do. and... “You think at some point they would get it, not me having to go [upstairs] and say it,” Haynesworth said. I can't tell by the article if upstairs refers to Shanahan or Snyder, but to me, the whole point is that at some point he should have "gotten it" That article nearly made me sick :( Longtimefan 12-08-2010, 07:39 PM I think its a shame that every year there is always going with this organization we just cant get through 1 season with out having some type of hoopla. For years now, controversy and issues having little to do with football and how the game is/should be played on the field has consumed the mindset of many Redskin fans. This new age of communication in many ways only serves to add fuel to the fire. Every day there seems to be a new issue that contributes to a distracted mind and prohibit players from concentrating on what's important. The publicized issue that now exists between Phillip Daniels and Bryan Mitchell is a typical example of a situation that should have no place serving as a player distraction in the middle of a football season. Current and former players calling each other out publicly are issues, [minor though they may be] are happenings that just don't need to be. It's so different for me because it's a far cry from anything I've ever been accustomed too. Hog1 12-08-2010, 07:50 PM I heard the V Holiday int today replayed on the M & M show. It was funny as hell. Like VH is saying, the players would drop on the field and yell "who am I?" imitating Big on the infamous 7 second lying on the ground play. VH was not nasty about it, but he totally said Big was not a good teamate. Could not be depended on. Dogged it. Resisited everything the coaches tried to do, etc. While these are things anybody with a brain has observed (and fans see and know very little of what really goes on), it is RARE for ANY player and far more still for multiple long term, established and probowl caliber players would say publicly. SEE YA' Big The next time I want a player that can handle the rigors of the NFL, I'll dip into the ESPN clerical pool as at least they can pass the PFT??? He does not know it yet, but he F... himself with all this BS Lotus 12-08-2010, 08:30 PM I heard the V Holiday int today replayed on the M & M show. It was funny as hell.
