Ruhskins 11-22-2010, 12:59 AM After watching this game, I'm looking forward to playing NY. Neither team really impressed me tonight. Vick had some weakness exposed and Eli looks like he's starting to struggle.
That will depend how our o-line performs. I think next week against Jared Allen and the Williams Wall will be a good test. The G-Men still have a good defensive line.

Without a doubt!
tdSKINS1 11-22-2010, 02:12 AM You may think he paid the price for it,but I don't.
Sorry,I don't think a 23 month sentence for electricuting, burning alive, drowning, beating, etc over 50+ dogs or more, is a proper sentence for what he did.
I've seen DWI offenders get more time...
Not right imo..
Not right at all
and then get his old job back?
Unless you have had multiple DUI's or were involved in a hit and run or manslaughter case you rarely see time. However I don't stand up for what Vick did at all but I completely think he did his time. If your not from VA and really don't see the culture around where he grew up and really how and why he got into that mess you wouldn't understand that he was pretty much brought up that way. It was a terrible thing and I own multiple dogs however the man did hard time a lot more time then a lot of people who associate themselves with dogfighting have ever done, he went broke/bankrupt, still is in debt and his life and legacy is tarnished forever. I think he has been humilated enough in my opinion. So I'm guessing if you made a bad mistake in your life you wouldn't want someone to give you a second chance?? Mikes a good guy to, I've grown up rooting for him at his days a VT, and have met him. I'm happy he's showing people what he's made of.

One thing's for sure, after he gets that new contract, there's no way he'll be in debt after that. I'm assuming he'll get McNabb type numbers at the minimum.
SirClintonPortis 11-22-2010, 03:11 AM All I have to say is...if McNabb was still playing for the Iggles tonight, we would be laughing at how the Eagles sucked tonight and how he's old, slow, and can't avoid athletic pass rushers anymore. And of course, he would have had a few balls in the dirt...
Those Giants were bringing the heat.

Vick is a good guy? R u serious. The guy has serious attitude problems. Yea, he is saying all the right things at the moment. Wouldn't u too though? They're millions of dollars on the line for him. Once he leaves the NFL I guarantee u we will hear his name come up again with some kinda problems attached. The sense of enitlement is creeping back into his head. He paid his time and the NFL gave him another chance. However, once the NFL has nothing left to give to him his true colors will come out again. After all it goes back to the culture he was brought up in huh?
I'm just tired of everyone hopping on the "citizen of the year" train for Vick. Pay him 70-80 million and quit talking the guy up. Vick will prove if he has changed 10 years from now. However, the media and everyone else acts like he is a different human being 2 years removed. How many of us knew he was involved in so much corruption 5 years ago? Just shows how little we really know about him and the changes in his life now. :soapbox:
Now to the playoff chances: I see the Saints losing 3 , Bucs losing 4 , Bears losing 4 , Packers losing 3 , Giants 3 as well.
Saints: 10-6
Bucs: 9-7
Bears: 9-7
Packers: 10-6
Giants: 9-7
Atlanta, Eagles, Packers, Seattle wining their divisions leaves 2 spots........
Saints and Giants get the wild card. I see us going 8-8 but if we get a split with the Giants I see us @ 9-7 and squeaking in on tie breakers. :)
Giantone 11-22-2010, 07:57 AM Eagels find a way to win got to give it to them .I like the game plan the Giants had for Vick ...no TD pass's last night.Giants aren't good with ball security 30 turnovers in 9 games thing is it's not all on Eli it's everyone on that team .Still to many mistakes .
SolidSnake84 11-22-2010, 08:00 AM Vick showed last night that he is a legitimate NFL Starter. I was always a supporter of him, through good times and bad, and i cheered for him when he returned to the NFL, even more so when it was clear that he cleaned up his act.
He handled the game well against a very good defense. And the schedule for the eagles the rest of the year, the Eagles might go 13-3 or 12-4....it is very favorable.
I wonder now when the Eagles/Vick contract talks will start. surely not after the season's end...
SmootSmack 11-22-2010, 08:07 AM Eagles vs. Falcons in the NFC Championship game sure would be something

Funny I think that was established long ago when he was still in ATL.
