What? Forget that. Young was 12/16 today for 165 yards and 20 rushing yards on 3 attempts with no Ints. Fisher is still pissed that he didn't get to draft his pretty boy USC QB back in 06. Seriously he'll use any excuse he can to bench Young.
I wonder if he will get the same flack Shanahan got for Pulling Mcnabb?
Be called a racist and all that?

Just saw this:
Titans bench QB Young, regardless of injury - NFL- nbcsports.msnbc.com (http://nbcsports.msnbc.com/id/40303215/sports/player_news)Was not aware of this, but i am not surprised. Vince Young is totally mental and i'm serious that he needs some help because he is going to go off the deep end one day and possibly kill himself or others.
Vince Young is immensly talented but he needs to take a season off and get treatment before trying to come back to the NFL.
Jeff Fisher said he is done as his QB, and his actions are inexcusible. Rusty Smith will start at QB until Kerry Collins gets back. Young is a headcase right now and I totally agree with Jeff Fisher's decision.

The NFL is a numbers game, not a game of meaningless subjective opinions. VY has always been a winner, he was 30-2 in college, and 31-16 in the NFL. Proven winner! Lastly, I don't begrudge VY for being a man and defending his honor. By your statement, you've never gotten in a fight in your life, if you did then you should be fired from your job, since you're insisting that VY be fired from his for doing something that most young men do from time to time.
I'm sorry, I'm sick and tired of Black athletes being classified as having a "poor-attitude" because they dare to show some emotions in the heat of battle.
WTF are you talking about? Ive never gotten in a fight? I should be fired from my job? Defending his honor?
And then you bring race into it? Get the f*ck out of here

Black QB's are always judged by their negatives. Example, McNabb is currently ranked #3 in the NFC in total passing yards, but you would never know that because the analysts only focus his negatives (3rd down conversions). Even though Aaron Rodgers has a similar 3rd down completion percentage, I've have yet to hear him criticized for it.
Don't start that racist crap in here.

Race has nothing to do with it. Players are Players. White or Black, it doesn't matter.
When you make it to the NFL, you are expected to be a professional in ALL THINGS. Your race does not give you an exemption from standards.
Vince Young throwing his shoulder pads into the stands is something a 5 year old would do that is having a temper tantrum. Until he can behave at a mature level, he is not deserving of an NFL job, and that has nothing to do with his race.

It's the NFL and the sports media who has history of racism and discrimination towards Black QB's. That's a fact. Don't point the finger at me because I'm acknowledging a clear cut fact.

There has been racism in sports, sure. But the decision to bench Vince Young had nothing to do with his race.
