He just can't stay healthy. He is a worker, sure. But his body has reached the point where it's dropping subtle hints to CP that it is time to walk away. I'd rather he leave now with some shred of health than not be able to hardly walk 5 or 6 years from now after the injuries keep piling on....

Whats the arguement to keep him? Great pass blocker...? I mean lets improve that on the Oline, we need a playmaker in the backfield. His production has been falling for several years. He has become injury prone. I mean we ran him to death and he was a great back for us. His age is getting up there. If we brought him back as a third running back with very limited use at an extremely reasonable price, thats fine. But to think he has a lot left or a primary back? Hell no

I think Shanny gonna look at our RB situation in the offseason and think 1 thing, serious overhaul. The way we have gone thru signing people off the street, the Larry Johnson and Willie Parker fails. He struggling to keep 1 or 2 backs healthy. RB in the offseason will be a HUGE need. Shanny offense depends on productive RBs

He's already got some guys to evaluate this year. I really hope J. Davis can still hit a hole like he did in clemson & learn to block. I don't know if "serious overhaul" of the rbs is accurate, given all the needs on the roster, but yeah, there's gonna be some new blood in there.
