Why arent we ever using a shotgun formation? I think with our recieivers we could tear it up. Ramsey is getting sacked to much. Manning does very well with it.

MTK 12-04-2004, 12:01 AM He's been sacked 5 times in two starts, not great but not horrible either. If the line could block a little better... Redskins8588 12-04-2004, 12:02 AM I say why not try the shotgun formation, I mean we are in a position where we should try everything at least once. Bozzy 12-04-2004, 12:46 AM Gibbs hates the shotgun. jamf 12-04-2004, 01:23 AM it virtually takes away half the running options since the back has to line up on one side of the line. but i wouldnt mind seeing it on 3rd and long. Redskinsfaninnola 12-04-2004, 03:17 AM Gibbs stated he didnt like it. He tried it once before and the snap went over the qb's head and he said NO MORE. gibbsisgod 12-04-2004, 08:20 AM 5 Sacks In 2 Games Is Not The Problem.we Would Not Even Be Having This Discussion If The Recievers Would Catch The Ball. Gibbs is never gonna put it in though. He's way to conservative on offense right now. He prefers the playaction pass on 3 and 15, which has just been fooling everybody. Daseal 12-04-2004, 11:02 AM Hell, even with Ramsey's bad numbers his trippling what Brunell put up in the average game. |
