I have not touch a cig. sense that day. People say you will feel so much better but I have not noticed that other then not coughing as much. I have gained some weight and do eat more. I finally got my buddy to quit and he has gone 7 weeks and we talk each day to encourage each other to not smoke. At this point I don't need encouragement but I don't let him know that. I always thought this smoke out thing was pretty stupid and still do. hooskins 11-18-2010, 11:20 AM First you stopped killing your lungs and gave them a chance to heal. Perhaps you aren't seeing immediate positives, but its great for the long run. I make very long spells with no cigs at all, but unfortunatley, time to time i do have 1 or 2, only when i am drinking or around my dad.
