Amazing these guys have had nothing to write about the NFL for months, and have known for a while now that they'd be writing about the Skins on April 12, Texans on the 11th, etc. and they still can't get their facts straight. OJ Atogwe, Clark Judge, you idiot. SmootSmack 04-13-2011, 10:54 AM Bowen does a great job with these Breaking down Ryan Mallet vs. Cover 2 | National Football Post (http://www.nationalfootballpost.com/Breaking-down-Ryan-Mallett-vs-Cover-2.html) MTK 04-13-2011, 11:36 AM Bowen does a great job with these Breaking down Ryan Mallet vs. Cover 2 | National Football Post (http://www.nationalfootballpost.com/Breaking-down-Ryan-Mallett-vs-Cover-2.html) Good stuff. I heard Pat Kirwan breaking down Mallet yesterday. He basically said he can make every throw, he can change protections at the line, and he knows when to take a sack. He's much more NFL ready than most prospects coming out this year. Take away the character concerns and he's probably a top 10-15 pick. SmootSmack 04-13-2011, 11:52 AM I don't think Mallet does well under pressure, not like game on the line pressure, but pocket is collapsing pressure celts32 04-13-2011, 12:13 PM Mallet seems to be the one guy we can safely rule out for the skins since his lack of mobility is a bad fit for the offense Shanny wants to run. Seems like an old school Gibbs QB to me...put a great O-line around him and watch him sling the ball around with that big arm. Then again that knucklehead rep of his would not have appealed to Gibbs though... BleedBurgundy 04-13-2011, 01:08 PM just have a feeling we're going with Locker. Don't know if it's good or bad, but I'm starting to read mocks where his perceived value is starting to climb back into the mid first. Going to make it less of a reach for us at 10. Would love to see Shanahan trade back, but failing that, I'd guess it's going to be Locker. MTK 04-13-2011, 01:12 PM Add Redskins, Titans to list of teams that would like to trade down | ProFootballTalk (http://profootballtalk.nbcsports.com/2011/04/13/add-redskins-titans-to-list-of-teams-that-would-like-to-trade-down/) NC_Skins 04-13-2011, 01:57 PM Report: More red flags popping up on Fairley - NFL- nbcsports.msnbc.com (http://nbcsports.msnbc.com/id/42572881/sports/player_news) Adam Schefter reported on ESPN's Sports Center Wednesday that Auburn DT Nick Fairley missed his flight to the Combine, missed a team meeting there, and was late for a team interview at his Pro Day. Now the "red flag" picture is coming into sharper focus. Fairley was forced to go the junior college route entering college, had just one dominant season at Auburn, and has faced criticism for taking plays off. While he possesses the talent to go No. 1 overall, Fairley's commitment issues leave him as one of the biggest wildcards in the top half of the draft. Hell mother ****ing no. We already have one lazy piece of shit on this team. celts32 04-13-2011, 02:37 PM just have a feeling we're going with Locker. Would love to see Shanahan trade back, but failing that, I'd guess it's going to be Locker. Good in my eyes...If the rumors of the Redskins liking Locker since last year are true then I don't see how any Redskins fan would be upset about drafting him at #10. Shannahan is the coach for the forseeable future...we know how fickle he is with QB's...if he likes this kid then we should want him to have him. Finding a young QB that Shanny likes and wants to work with trumps any other need the Redskins have. That is way more important then the defensive player or WR we can get at #10. It's not really about which QB's we like...it's about getting the one they like that they will believe in and invest the time in to build around. When the 10th pick rolls around on April 28th we are going to find out if all the rumors linking Locker to Shanny were true or not, because if they pass at #10 then their feelings for him were not as strong as we were led to believe. |
