Thanks. If it wasn't for Zorn I would still have a job. Skinzwin, did you know that Zorn eats babies? Especially the ones that Dan saved from third world countries.

I hear he has a fetish for the tubby ones. Sad to say they are a dime a dozen in today's world. Is that why you got rid of him? You can't draft to save your life but you won't stand for cannibalism?

It's difficult trying to process all of the scenarios on and before draft day. There are also questions about what will be done about Haynesworth, McNabb, and other players who haven't re-signed. It seems that a lot of these questions will satisfied after the team has positioned themselves to take the best players available in the draft. If Julio Jones or A.J. Green fall into their lap, there's likely no need to re-sign Moss. Bringing McNabb back hinges on if and however the team can set themselves up to draft a potential, future franchise-QB*. Should Haynesworth be retained? He has already been paid the bulk of his contract but, if Fairley or Cam Jordan (DE in our 3-4 front) is available at 10th overall or a trade down yields an additional pick to draft Phil Taylor or Kendrick Ellis and a QB*. Again, the scenarios are boundless. What the team has to do with very few early picks and so many holes to fill and/or upgrade is draft the best player available (besides TE), bring in more stopgap vets, and give the younger, late round selections a chance to develop.

Something that plays a significant role in what goes down on draft day is strength/depth of each position. For example, if top-tier talent QBs are scarce, this generally will push them up the draft board. This is also a key consideration for teams to trade up. In contrast, if a position is relatively deep, teams can generally be at ease that there will be plenty of talent available later.

Saying all of that, here's my wishlist/prediction for staying put at 10th overall and trading down (with NEs 28th and 33rd overall for the 10th overall 1240 vs 1300 trade value points (http://www.sportznutz.com/nfl/draft/draft_point_value_chart.htm)in favor of NE). I have a feeling that A.J. Green and Julio Jones both will be gone at the 10th pick. Also, CIN should be in the market for a QB in the second (35) if they haven't nabbed one early in the first. It’s just a coincidence that I have a CB drafted for each first round pick. It seems as these guys would be the best player available in my mock.

Staying Put
1 (10): Prince Amukamara
2 (41): Jake "The Snake II" Locker

Trade Scenario
1 (28): Brandon Harris
2 (33): Jake "The Snake II" Locker
2 (41): Justin Houston

I'm going with a VY/Jake Locker duo next year.

Why give away draft picks to trade up for Locker when you can get a better QB in Kaepernick at 41?

#10 - Defensive front or linebacker
#41 - Colin Kaepernick

BOOM! WINNING!!!Sounds good to me.

wow Jordan at 10? I'd rather have Aldon Smith but honestly if Prince is available I'd take him.

Definitely what I want. I have no reasoned idea what will happen other than your frequent statements of interest regarding Quinn. Shanny often surprises. Quinn will certainly do.
