You have to realize why don't you? It's because of me. I started talking about Von Miller awhile ago and he starts climbing the boards. Now I'm high on Kaepernick and he is rising up draft boards. I guess I need to keep my picks on the DL or we won't get any good picks. lol.

I want Nothing to do with Kaepernick, he's got awful accuracy and can't read defenses.

It's hard to put a lot of stock in the wonderlic scores. Especially since Quincy Carter scored twice as high as Dan Marino. Either a guy can play or he can't. I see Patrick Peterson scored a 9. Despite that he'll go in the top 5, and A.J and Julio will go in the top 15. Speaking of 15, Terry Bradshaw, Jim Kelly, Randall Cunningham scored 15 on their tests. Ryan Fitz Patrick scored 3 times as high, I'll leave it at that.

I agree, AJ Green or Patrick Peterson's Wonderlic matters very little to almost nothing. Though it does make you wonder how they the necessary SAT scores to get into college if they don't test well. But I think there's definitely some strong evidence to show that it matters with quarterbacks. This article does a pretty good job of laying it out -
A Formula For Drafting QBs That Works: Rule of 26-27-60 - Hogs Haven (http://www.hogshaven.com/2011/1/27/1958737/a-formula-for-drafting-qbs-that-works-rule-of-26-27-60)
And re: Bradshaw, Kelly, Cunningham, etc
My guess is that the Wonderlic wasn't generally perceived to matter in those days, so when stud qb's like Marino and Bradshaw got presented with a bubble test, they probably didn't pay it much attention. These days it matters, and preparing for the Wonderlic as a qb is now a part of the draft preparation, including tutors and practice sessions. Much worse to score low on a test you've prepared for and that you know is important than when you don't think it matters.

Bradshaw is not the type of QB you want to point to as to why the Wonderlic doesn't mater. If anything his career numbers (http://www.pro-football-reference.com/players/B/BradTe00.htm) validate the importance of the Wonderlic.

You are so right! his 36-38 performance at pro day coupled with his 64.9% completion percentage as a senior this year was terrible! What was I thinking?!? It's not like he has improved every year as a 4 year starter, oh wait... HE HAS!!!
Just because you're still bitter about pineapple jesus getting the boot doesn't mean you have to sour things for everyone else. And unlike most of the other QB's in the draft that you probably like, Kaepernick has the speed and athleticism to bootleg out and around a breakdown on the play or if he can not read the defense correctly.
You can learn to read defenses. You can't learn speed and athleticism. He's got his head on straight, hard worker, someone is going to get a steal in the draft. I hope it is us.
If we draft Kaepernick I'm changing my username KaepKrusader.
