I highlighted JC because he played ok for us and was a constant Professional. In fact our last 6 picks have been damn good IMO. CultBrennan59 03-01-2011, 10:36 AM What about Aubrayo Franklin of the 49ers? The Guy is 6'1 317 and is considered an elite Nose Tackle. Jay Ratliff is also barely over 300 pounds yet he's easily one of the few Cowboys that actually deserved to go to the pro bowl over the course of the last couple years. Everyone wants Vince Wilfolk but the fact of the matter is that 3-4 teams are having no trouble plugging inplayers that are less then 320 pounds. 6'1 is actually an ideal height for a Nose Tackle in todays NFL as Guards and Centers are usually 6'2/6'3. Teams want guys that can get under the pads of these interior players, hence the short-squaty typecast. Casey Hampton 6'1, Vince Wilfolk 6'2, BJ Raji 6'2, Aubrayo Franklin 6'1, Kelly Gregg 6'0. He's a Big 317lbs, I bet that that weight is a lie, you really think Vince Wilfork is 320? And Casey Hamptons 330? They lie about their weights to get incentives in their contracts, because of the weight they're required to be at.
