Jason Garrett must have been a true genius to get those Cowboys to beat the same Giants who crushed them just a few weeks ago.
Or maybe they did have the talent, but Tubby was just an absolutely shitty head coach.
I don't think Garrett is a genius but I do believe that Wade handicapped this squad. They are pretty talented and last season's division title and playoff win proved it. You can't do those things without damn good talent in the NFCE. I really wished they kept Tubby.

this girl at work came up with this joke yesterday after our embarassing loss.
Read it like its Jeff Foxworthy saying it
"If you cause sports fans to get up and turn the tv off,YOU might be a Redskin"
The Cowboys season is clearly worse - end of discussion. They came into this year with SB dreams, they've totally crashed and burned and got their HC fired. How can you compare that to one game?

It's hard to believe how the Vikings, Cowboys, and Chargers all fell on their face this year. I think it's more of a disappointment for the Vikes than Dallas because they are a better team than the Cowboys and they went further. Yeah, I think this is far worse for the Vikes SB dreams than the other two.

There were a lot of expectations of the Vikings, but I think last year everything had to be almost perfect for them to make the run they made. Their offensive line kept Favre upright and Sidney Rice developed into a lethal weapon. This year you had Favre-drama (again) at the beginning of the season, injuries to Rice, and Childress developing into an a-hole of a coach.
I think in the case of the Chargers, a combination of injuries and AJ Smith making sure he won his pissing match with Vincent Jackson, led to their bad season. Ryan Matthews is talented but can't stay on the field, the Chargers wideouts have been decimated by injury, and now Gates may be gone for several weeks. Also, no one anticipated that Kansas City and Oakland would actually play decent this year.
I just don't see these two teams comparing to the Cowboys. I feel that they had no excuse other than giving up on their coach. I guess you could've seen it coming, since Wade Phillips doesn't necessarily look like an authoritative figure. But still, I don't think there's an excuse or good reason for their crappy season. Oh well.

I wouldn't count the Chargers out just yet. That division is still up for grabs and they could make a run.

The cowpokes are by far the greatest debacle of the year to date. If they turn it around & finish 6-10 or better they could keep Garrett & salvage their collective psyche, feel good about next year, etc.
I can't think of a team I've ever seen perform more poorly relative to their talent level. On both sides of the ball they have good to great talent.

I Totally agree with Rushkins on this one even if all 3 teams had SB expectations before the season started in the case of the Vikining injuries, favre drama and injury help them fall, we all knew the Chargers would have a rough start because of AJ Smith cheap ass thing and like Mattyk said they're still in it. But the Cowboys until Romo went down they really didn't had any huge injury this team self exploded gave up and believed the Superbowl was already theirs they just needed to show up.
So yeah Dallas season is the worst
