I have to believe that even if the Eagles franchise Vick, another team will match and exceed that offer to pry Vick away. I think Vick or Kolb is definitely gone next year.

Schefter's take on things is much more reasonable and level headed over these bold predictions.

What'd he say?

Maybe they can off-load Kolb on a QB-desperate team like Seattle, Arizona or Carolina. They'll still take a bath financially though after giving him, what was it, $11 million this year?

Per Peter King:

. Terrific nugget from Sunday morning's "NFL Matchup'' show: When Michael Vick was sandwiched five weeks ago and suffered a rib injury against Washington, a review of the coaches video found Vick should never have taken off to run. He had a crosser, from right to left, totally uncovered in the middle of the field and just never saw him. Great example of how Vick still doesn't see the whole field when he goes back to throw. For him to have a long career, he has to learn to scan the field better so he doesn't endure the kind of hits a quarterback is bound to receive if he takes off six or eight times a game, every week.

I think he's more like old timey Michael Vick in more ways than people want to believe at this point. But I also think there's been legitimate (if not wholesale) improvement in the "when to runs" and "functional effectiveness while running" areas.

Vick's playing the best ball of his career, but his passing isn't really any more or less valuable than Kolb in the same offense. Obviously, when you have two quarterbacks throwing the ball at the same level, and one of them is duel-threat Michael Vick, then Vick needs to be the one who is playing. Which the Eagles know, apparently.

Vick is only going to get better people. He's only had a few starts in this offense. He's one of the top rated passers this year and he's really making some serious stick throws. The guy can flat out spin the ball. Time will tell if he's truly going to put the effort in to take it to the next level. But he's really setting himself up for a big payday.

If Vick keeps playing like he is, how can the Eagles let him go?

Vick isn't going anywhere. The Eagles almost certainly will sign him to a new contract. They've found their new franchise QB. He is only 30 years old and could play for 5 or 6 more years at least.
