1 - There may not be a fix for the o-line. We can mix & match but that will come through players that have already proven they have a hard time getting the job done.

2 - Shanahan has had nothing but praise for Galloway [warranted or not] Would like to see if Austin could make a difference in the passing game as difficult as that may be. Some think if Randy Moss is released, he could be an option.

3 - Penalties definitley need to be negated at all cost. They cost us two touchdown in yesterdays game and more than 100 yds. in returns. Has been a problem all season.

4 - Good luck with the changing where McNabb's footwork is concerned. It's going to be difficult for a player that's been successful with his mechanics for as long as he has.

5 - If Torain can't return in two weeks there aren't an abundance of options. There's Williams, Davis and the hope that Portis will be able to return.

Unfortunately, there's not a great deal of fixing that can be done. The teams personell is what it is and what we're going to have to deal with for the next eight games. The one sure thing we can fix is reducing the penalties, that's a correctable issue.

o run the ball more

o Kyle(McNabb) and the offense staff ,imo, have to step up and help this offense become more effective/effecient through his playcalling/gameplanning.

o More quick hitting 3 step drop throws to take the pressure off the OL and get Mc5 in rhythm.

o the playcalling needs to take some of the pressure off the OL.

Defense:

o play more man coverage then zone coverage

I don't think we are in a position to do that right now. He isn't as bad as Rabach. Rabach needs to be demoted immediately.

I want to see Lichtenjagr at center and Dock back at LG. If for nothing else it would prove that our coaches aren't dillusional.

Rabach is horrific.

I think this is a real possibility for monday night. See GTripp's game review- I asked him about Dock v. KL at LG. I thought his answer made sense of Shanny's logic; Dock is the stronger, more capable blocker one on one, but KL has versatility & athleticism to get out on screens, pulls, etc. However, they aren't running many of those plays for a variety of reasons, so we're seeing KL get dominated by some DTs.

I think the Shanahans may have to face this change the same way Haslett had to face the fact that he didn't have the personel to run 3-4 most of the time. Haslett's D has had 4 linemen for most of the plays in at least the last 3 games.

I don't know how quickly KL could be moved to C, but obviously Dock could be moved back to LG.

Detroit has a chance to be scary good in a couple years. They are loaded with young talent that just needs to learn HOW to win.

I agree their future looks much brighter then ours, sadly.

1-Fix OL problems. Some changes are needed from the C all the way to the right of the line.
2-Time for Galloway to retire and promote Austin from the PS.
3-Cut back on penalties during returns by special teams.
4-Have McNabb work on his footwork.
5-If Torain is hurt for awhile bring in James Davis from the PS and see what he can do.

1. The only change they can make is Dock. The rest of the guys aren't any better than the starters. But Shanahan needs to put his ego in his back pocket and get Dock back in there.

2. Galloway (and Williams should've never even been on the team. I don't know what these guys were thinking.

3. Can be corrected

4. Not buying the footwork stuff. McNabb is what he is. He's going to make some big plays and he's going to be inaccurate on some stuff. They knew what they were getting. They've got 11 years of film on the guy. Did they even bother to take a look???

5. What ever happened to this guy?? He was a beast at Clemson.

I would love to see Banks get more time on offense. He's one of those Hester types that needs to get the rock in his hands. He would scare the hell out of defenses. Tell me what you all think about this.

I agree one thousand percent.

That's basically what I meant, put back Dockery at LG or RG (if he can play there) get rid of Rabach out of the starting lineup and put KL at C. Hicks hasn't done much at RG and Brown is still not at 100% at RT.

I really think that to date Kyle Shanahan stinks as an offensive coordinator! They should leave McNabb's stance alone...Just let him play. and get somebody to call some plays that seem logical. But they need to fix the O-line problems pronto. One change they can make is to move Dockery back in at left guard, take Rabach out and replace him withMontgomery or the current left guard (I can't spell his name!). It might not be any better but at least it's a change. Shanahan must be sitting in Vinnie's old chair and now he's caught something!
