I know we've read this sort of BS before, but I thought I'd share it with you:

I still don't get first of all why people are so quick to bail on Gibbs, and second why they think he should quit on the team instead of trying to turn the team around.

I find it ironic that a writer that no one has heard of (writing for that journalistic juggernaut, AOL Sports), has the stones to talk about tarnishing a legacy. This would carry some weight if the writer had a legacy himself.

Wait.. America Online Sports writer said that? He does know he works for America Online right? Whatever, everyone can keep pumping this out, then if he turns it around next year, they are the same exact people who will be prasing him. Thats the one thing I hate about the media, just a bunch of bandwagoners.

lol, AOL is the same company that believes their $23/ month dial up service can compete with $30/ month DSL.
Take it with a grain of salt.

It's also the company that writes perhaps the countries leading magazine. Ever heard of Time?
Guys, everyone else in the world doesn't give Gibbs a free pass. Explain to me what he's done THIS YEAR to show that things are on the right track.

Let's look at it this way Daseal. Your man Spurrier has a stellar record coaching in college. So let's say next year he gets off to a 1-7 start. Do you think it'd be right if this AOL writer, or anyone else, says "Spurrier should just quit, he's embarassing us all"?

I didn't know Time was world reknowned for its great insight into the world of sports.
Explain to me what he's done THIS YEAR to show that things are on the right track.
Gregg Williams, this year's draft, and the fact that we have been in every game this year. Unlike past years, we have not gotten worse as the season has progressed.

Please explain how our offense could have gotten any worse! Also, we were in nearly every game last year too. For much different reasons.
He brought greg Williams in. That was a great move. Too bad the lone bright spot on his record thus far is Greg Williams, Bugel, and Portis.

LOL, the ol ball coach better win right away, no excuses!
