Unbelievable!
Wilson Hurt in Debut
Right tackle Mark Wilson, the rookie who played well in his NFL debut Sunday, suffered a knee ailment in the game that may force Washington to reshuffle its offensive line yet again. The Redskins won't know Wilson's status until late this week. If Wilson doesn't mend in time, Coach Joe Gibbs said yesterday, Ray Brown will switch back to right tackle and Lennie Friedman will start at right guard. Brown has been the starting right tackle in eight games this season. Brown 41, switched to right guard, his natural position, after right guard Randy Thomas was forced to miss Sunday's game with a groin injury. But Thomas said he hopes to return this weekend. . . .
Defensive end Phillip Daniels, who missed the past three games with a groin injury, expects to practice fully this week and possibly return Sunday. . . .
Place kicker John Hall, who returned Sunday after missing five games with a groin injury, said he didn't suffer any ill effects from the injury.
"It felt fine," said Hall who kicked off twice and made an extra point.
