The thing that sucks is we are making it easier for our NFC east rivals. I would much rather be in Dallas or Filthy shoes and play the Colts without Clark, Collie and a banged up Addai. Knocking them out will hurt us in the long run.

^^I thought about that earlier! I also hope the Giants and the Girls get to play GB with a healthy Mathews!
I feel the same about the Colts. We made those games easier fpr the Eagles and Giants.
Hell the Eagles get to play the Titans without Vince Y. It will make the game much easier for them.

I wanna believe Haslett's fiery style has something to do w/ our D's penchant for laying the wood. While his scheme is suspect there's no doubt Haslett has found a way to motivate his group!!!

Something about this thread just strikes me as bad ju-ju.
Yup. Your post is exactly what I came on here to say. Yes, we're looking like a physical team for sure. And that's great and all, but given how snake-bitten we've been by the injury bug in recent years coupled with our current lack of depth, I find it very bad karma to be applauding all the injuries we've "caused" during the first 6 weeks.
Injuries are the ultimate wildcard in the NFL. The Redskins have been fortunate thus far. Let's hope we keep avoiding major ones. In the meantime I will certainly not applaud the injuries opposing players have suffered during our matchups. Like you said, that's baaaaaad ju-ju.

We havent been completely un scathed by the injury bug.
We lost CP, Rocky Mac in the last game, Cooley in the last quarter of the Colts game, Trent and Jamaal were lost at differents points, and Trent missed the Rams game. We have had our share just not season ending ones.
So our luck is about the same as the teams we are playing.
I just have to ask all of you bad juju guys, what do fans of the Pats and Steelers post on their boards? Are their fans so worried about JUJU or just worried about who they are going to beat in the coming weeks? It is not so much about the juju or super stiutions it is about the team and how good they are.
Don't worry so much about juju and focus on how the team is playing.

I agree when we play teams and hurt their best players unless we knocked them out early we will make it easier for our NFC East rivals when they play the teams we knocked out their top players. I do like how we are flying to the ball.

Don't forget we gave Witten out with a concussion weak one. He was pissed he couldn't get back in the game. It sets the tone in a game

Even though the defense is giving up a ton of yards, they've been doing some damage to the best players on the other team. So far big time players they've knocked out of games or banged up include:
Houston-Andre Johnson (ankle)
St. Louis-Stephen Jackson (leg)
Philly-Mike Vick (sternum), LeSean McCoy (ribs)
Green Bay-Rodgers (concussion), Finley (knee), Lee (shoulder)
Indy-Addai (shoulder), Clark (wrist)
We've got some serious bangers right now, with all the injuries we've caused are they playing hard and tough or dirty?
Well to be fair some of the injuries to some these guys had nothing to do with hard hits. The injuries to Vick and Addai were legit.

If it makes people feel better we can change the title to
"Players injured while playing against the Redskins."
I just find it interesting how many players come out of the games lame after having played the Skins.

A lot of it is just dumb luck too. Guys on good teams get injured against crap teams every week in the NFL. If 3 or 4 Ravens leave the game this week against Buffalo, does that mean the Bills are in some way a bad ass defense? Come on.
Personally I'd rather "injure" less opponents and trade it for giving up less than 420 yards of offense per game.
