Yes they may hit him with the Franchise Tag, but again he doesn't have to sign it. It would really be a DICK move for AJ to do that come Feb. but it is the risk VJ is taking. From what we have heard he is actually being pressured by the NFLPA to do so. I guess we will all see how it plays out. How much time will he miss now? He has his suspension, but what about those extra games he had to miss? Will he be back by week 11 of this year or later? Why? cause we all know he's not happy, and He's only returning so he can be a FA next year. What happens if he shows up and .... oh lets say .... drops a few balls? especially catchable balls? will he continue to play or be benched? Yes the saga is over for the moment but I could imagine him conveniently dropping balls so the team wouldn't be happy with him. Especially since he is not happy about going against his word where he said he would not be back and he could sit out the whole season. Now he looks like a fool. He doesn't come back the team still ownes him and has some leverage as to where he goes so basically he had to come back if he wanted to be free next yr. Maybe he fakes an injury? His punishment was 3 games not being with the team. Thats over. Then there was 4 games he could show up and practice but not play on Sun. I thought they have been counting already because he's technically still a Charger. The mere fact that he has not shown up to practice is an issue between him and San Diego and I don't think has anything to do with his suspension. So I guess what I'm saying is he can play week 8 I believe.
