Is it me or does San Diego seem to have a shitty front office.

Don't be surprised if VJ signs a deal like Marcus McNeill did. SD is 2-4, they are going to end up locking him up. This is a business, the bad blood will go away when VJ sees numbers he likes.

Your right money solves everything. but sometimes people burn bridges and wonder if the Chargers burned the bridge with VJ and VJ is just ready to get out of town.

It seems as though they have. With some of VJ's comments I believe he is ready to split with SD.

One other thing about him coming back.

It frees him from the Chargers and as long as he does not get into any more trouble, he is going to be ready for a complete full season, and he will get more money from the Free Agent Market. I honestly do not think the Bolts would give him a market deal now, and it seems as though AJ Smith really has a problem with giving VJ a good contract becuase of his off the field isssues.

I do not know any of these people personally or have a working relationship with any of them so this is just my opinion.

NO!!! But what about my team on Madden. Doesn't Bruce realize we need like 10 pro bowlers at reciever. Look at how well it's working out for the Cowboys.

It's not Austin's, Williams', and Bryant's fault their team keeps shooting themselves in the foot every game. I would switch WRs with Dallas in a heartbeat. What makes me mad is that we let T.O. get away, now VJ. Damn...

I know that's how it sounded when the last quick fix deadline passed. And yeah, it's hard to imagine him staying there, but I just wouldn't be shocked if Norv calms him down once he is on the field and at practice, and they get a solid deal done.

Since this whole fiasco started about money, it could certainly end with it too. I wouldn't be shocked if they hammer out a deal with him.

At 2-4, yeah they better do something to make the guy happy. Rivers is having a decent fantasy year, but nothing to show for it in the win column. If the FO and Norv don't turn it around, a lot of folks are going to be out of jobs in Chargerland.

If he shows up for practice with the team and continues to behave along the lines of his public statements for the past 6 months [I'll never wear a Chargers uniform again; I have money set aside so I can sit out a whole season; the Chargers are preventing me from getting the contract I deserve somewhere else.] he may not be activated for the games that he is eligible to play.

Suppose the Chargers' season tanks and they are 3-7 or 2-8 when Jackson is eligible. Maybe they sit him out in a luxury box upstairs to watch the game; that has been known to happen in some NFL towns.

If he shows up with his "entitlement attitude", I doubt they even offer him a contract this year or in the off-season. If he shows up ready to work hard and play well - - we shall see.

One scenario no one seems to have considered as possible is that Jackson pulls down another DUI between now and his eligibility date. Could happen...
