It might be interesting to experiment with shotgun formation, especially in obvious long passing downs. Gardner definitely gets his walking papers. Coles stays at our #1 spot (and is hopefully healthly next year), Jacobs goes into the #2 slot with McCants and Thrash at 3 & 4. I think our draft should be used for lineman- offensive and/or defensive. Assuming Jansen is healthy for next year, challenge Samuels to renegotiate or let him walk and maybe use Wilson to fill in his spot on the line.

I have a feeling that theres gonna be alot of changes on offense when the offseason comes around (personnel and scheme). The inconsistency is killing us.

It's not like I haven't been wrong before, but I don't think we'll see a major personnel overhaul with this team. IMHO, that's one of the elements that has been plaguing this team is it's lack of continuity.

Add a power running back.
Steal another receiver like Coles from another team (drop Gardner).
Draft a big-time o-lineman.
Upgrade at center.

Keep as many of the same guys as possible and create continuity!!!

I don't think it will be major either, but we do need a consistent WR, and LT. We could also use an upgrade at center. And most people think we need a new QB. I like Ramsey, and I hope he is our franchise QB, but you never know...

Seriously though, can Dockery play LT and we find a LG? I know that Dockery hasn't exaclty been lighting the world on fire with his guard play but maybe he's more suited for tackle

coles has to have that surgery, otherwise he's a good #2, but not much more... he refuses to take it easy while injured and he's not getting any better.
