Didnt Brett Farve show up and play a game after his father died?

AND SMOKE THE RAIDERS

He did, and his coach didn't bench him. Go figure....

Or perhaps Haynesworth collapses the pocket a couple times allowing Orakpo or others to get hits/sacks on Manning.

I have considered that possible, but Haslett had the guys shifting positions and doing quick subbing. AH was not up to speed with that part of the gameplan.
However, I'll admit I'm not sure if he should have been deactivated. But if he was active, he wouldn't have been in on many plays.

It is all done and over with now. We had a chance to win. We didn't. Next week we do.

AND we go into Detroit for some much needed pay back of the Lions. Then it is on to the bye week. 5-3.

Philly and the Giants have 2 tough weeks of games coming up.

But how do you really feel that AH would have done with the NO HUDDLE/QUICK OFFENSE, especially more than likely not beeing 100% inshape.

I guess we will never know, huh... I know this. We lost.

Nothing personal but that is pure speculation. The bottom line is that we have no idea what would have happened because our coaches decided to sit our most talented player.

Either way, our defensive gameplan didn't work and NO ONE can dispute that.

He would have been sucking air in the first half. I know that. They were so quick getting into thier next play in the first and second quarter it was mind boggling how well Manning was executing the offense. I thought we were going to get blown out.

We held them to 10 points in the second half.

BTW I love how we are getting some big missed FGs at FedEx this year. Good kickers are having a real hard time there.

If you are fine with a loss when our most talented player is sat for a coches decision..more power to you.

If we end up 8-8 while 9-7 gets you in the playoffs, I am not going to be very nice on this board...

How did that gameplan work out? What they would have given up 600 yards with Albert out there? Please.....

Uhh how the **** do you know what would've happened with Haynesworth in there? Let it ****ing go. We just played Peyton f'n Manning, we could've had our best 11 on the field and it wouldn't have mattered if Peyton knew where to go with the ball.

I mean seriously you're acting like we didn't get pressure on him. Even when we did get pressure on him, he still got it out quick.

Do you remember playing the Rams, blitzing on every down and allowing Sam ****in Bradford to shred our defense? Face it, you're just looking for crappy ass excuses as to why our defense got shredded by Manning. If you haven't noticed before today, our defense has gotten shredded by other quarterbacks, most notably Matt Schaub and Sam Bradford. Would've Haynesworth have made a difference in those games too? Oh wait, he did play in the St. Louis game, and Bradford still shredded us.

Our defense has played good this season, most notably against Green Bay, Philly, and Dallas, and has also played poorly this season, against Houston, St. Louis, and now Indy, and have you noticed any trend there? Well, I'll tell you this. Haynesworth was active against Philly and Dallas and St. Louis. He only played great against Philly, and was pretty much nonexistent in those other two. All I'm trying to say is that it probably wouldn't have made much difference if he was in there. All we had to do was confuse Peyton Manning, but along with the majority of the teams in the NFL, we couldn't, and it cost us.

It may be speculation, but if I have to face Peyton Manning going quick no huddle and thus prevent me from subbing, I sure as hell would want my guys to know exactly what the hell they're doing. And it's not like Albert was totally effective every time he has played. Teams have exploited his overaggressiveness before.
