Any word on him being traded? I must say being this close to the trade deadline makes people wonder about this move.

And yeah, what's up with him being up in a suite?

Allen says no

Maybe in the press conference Shanahan will answer that question.
Frankly I am not happy with the use of personnel on Defense. Don't get it.
The Packages with Vonnie Holiday as our sole DL is not working. We give up to much on the ground on the all LB defensive line. There were several long runs right up the middle today. I thought we were passed that. I guess not.

Absolutely not. He was perfectly in reason to do what he did. I would've loved to have Haynesworth out there tonight, but Haynesworth missed practice time this week and that's what happens. Obviously it wasn't through any fault of his own that he wasn't with the team last week but it's just something that happened. And Haynesworth wasn't coming off his best game of the year, Haynesworth was coming off a week off from the game due to what happened.

I don't think this had anything to do with "prior sins." This just had to do with Haynesworth coming back on Thursday, and obviously Shanny didn't think he was ready to play. Make no mistake he'll be back in the lineup against the Bears barring injury or some other unforeseen event. I think the Bears will be a great game for him to come back to as well, he should be able to pick up right where he left off against the Bears' o-line.Fair enough, but let's say for argument's sake that London Fletcher has a family emergency on a Wednesday and misses practice that day when the game plan is being installed. Do you think that the same rule applies? I think not.

So does AH.

He sure does but, he is the only one that looks as good as 98. When it comes to getting pressure in the pocket.

Actually yeah I kinda do. If Fletch left before he had time to get the game plan down, and didn't come back till, let's say Saturday afternoon, I'd think he'd have been inactive.

But to be honest it's different. London Fletcher is a 12 year vet who's one of the hardest workers on the team, not to mention a leader. If he put in the work and showed Shanny he deserved to play, there's no saying what might've happened.

Or maybe Shanny sticks to his guns and says if you don't practice you don't play, end of story.

Shanahan said he wasn't active because he missed too much time and missed the installation if the game plan

Yeah I don't think this was personal or had anything to do with the past. It may not have been the right move in the end but it is what it is. We will need the big fella against the BEars and at least he is well rested. :)

I dont know how much of an affect he may or maynot have had against the Colts and the D we played tonight. He may have helped get us more pressure on Manning or he may not have. We will never know.

Time to move on from this topic and get him ready to play the Bears.

Shanahan. I am glad you are here. But if you think that this team is talented enough to win the division or beat Peyton Manning without our most talented lineman, you are a ****ing joke.
