Well for what it's worth, so far your claim had not come true. But my initial point was don't complain about no respect from the media when our own fans give up on them just a few minutes into the game

I don't get why me complaining about us not getting any respect from media, has anything to do with me making a negative comment in the spur of the moment during the game.

I may talk a lot of sh*t that probably doesn't make sense during the game, but like I said, I'm just some yahoo venting on a message board. I would imagine that there is someone that knows football that would tell these guys in the media that maybe we're not a bad team and that we lost to a good team.

Again, outside of Rak and maybe AH, who on this team can be considered a good and consistent pass rusher?Alexander, Landry, Wilson, and maybe Carter if you're feeling charitable.

Look, the Seahawks got 3.5 sacks from their defensive backs in today's game vs. Chicago. We also play with defensive backs. Sometimes, lots of defensive backs.

Of course not

On another note, with Cooley perhaps out next week maybe we'll finally get FD more involved
What play did he get dinked on? I saw him come out and they almost immediately went to Davis but it didn't look like Cooley got plunked too hard any time.

Truth. Honestly I feel we could run the table on the NFC teams left on our schedule. Now of course we won't, and there's probably equal chance we could get shut out too, but too ma ny people forget just how bad we were last year. That we won 4 games is a minor miracle.

I just like the fact that this year's team doesn't dejected early and quit. They fight to the end. Mistakes and missed opportunities happen in football, just a matter of how you respond to them

The Bears offensive line is pure garbage. Also, the Bears don't have great receivers. I think our defense should be able to pressure Cutler. Honestly, I'm a bit more concerned about Forte and the running game.

No the next 2 are must wins. We really need a game where we put it all together and put a team down. I'm looking at you Chi. Hopefully we start playing above our opponents rather than to them. A nice sound convincing win is in order for the long term but I'll take one any way we can get it. Hopefully we post.

I'll second that opinion man. If there ever was a game to let us know we can have a complete, dominant, performance, it's Chicago. For as many sacks as we get and as horrible as Chicago's offensive line is, I would hope to see a 5+ sack game from us next week. I wouldn't love for anything more than to see a game where offense executes fine and our defense completely shuts down an opposing offense. They average 4 sacks a game given up, and I think they've already given up 27 sacks in 6 games this season. This should be a game where everything comes together and gives us a boost that we need.

@Skinsfan69: Agreed, I'm definitely not trying to sound like an ATV hater because that's exactly what I'm not. He's been great back there and my only real concern is his durability.

But they also couldn't close games that they were winning late, which led to a 4-12 finish.

Our team plays with as much energy and effort as any team in the NFL. Our physicality is keeping us in games on the whole. I don't know if our collection of vets can keep this type of effort up but if they can then it is just time until the schemes come together for us. I believe it.
