mark it down.....we will see vast improvements on offense with Torian running the ball. This team has been starving for a fast back and you will see what this franchise has needed for the past 4 years. Torian will create a passing game and give the defenses fits.He is a "different pace of a back".........definition..............he has 3 steps on Portis. Don't get me wrong I am a Portis fan but I know when a RB has lost some wheels and he has been slow for 3 years now. It is time we addressed the backfield and now we will get an eye opener. The good news is...it works out in our favor.

Newbies shouldn't be allowed to start threads until they've been here a while. I agree with whizzing behind a bush, above.

Agreed, however I'm going to try and salvage the thread.

I heard that when McNabb was interviewed and asked about the production of the offense he said something like "the team is only using about 40% of it's ability." He basically said that so far the team has game planned around each team and that they are now getting to the point where the offense has a large number of basic offensive plays, and also putting in plays to game plan around each team.

To me this gets me excited to hear cause it means to me that the team has a larger play book to go to each week along with the plays that were game planned to beat weaknesses in the opponants defense. Plus if they are in one play but see the defense is giving them something else hopefully they can change out of it and into the better play.

In the end McNabb said on Redskins.com that this offense is about to explode. I just can't wait for the game in which it happens.

I also heard on the radio that this year alone we have been scoring on our first drives and some second drives which the team has not had the consistancy doing in well over 10+yrs.

How many times we have watched games and the team came out on their first drive and stalled and had to punt. It's nice to see the offense doing something right even though they still have a ways to go.

KS has to start doing a better job of in-game adjustements.

I agree that Torain is very interesting in the aspect of what he will bring to the running game. However, I think Portis pass protection is getting WAY over looked. That is going to be a big portion of Torains game that has to get better, QUICKLY

This was to be my comment exactly. We may run the ball better but look for Mcnabb to be on his back more too. It's a tradeoff for me; but I would be lying if I said I wasn't excited to see what these fresh legs can do. Hopefully Torain can stay healthy, knock on wood.

What happens when Torain goes down with a significant injury? Who runs with the rock then?

We just cut our 2nd round pick wide-out that was drafted a couple of years ago. This guy albeit was not so much as sniffing the field on offense. But, he was running back some nice kick-off returns, and getting us some nice field position.

I think we are F'ed.
