so according to some of you CP26 has not lost a couple steps?
the only team in the NFL to have the same featured back since 2004....

I am not denying that Portis hasn't lost a step, but my point is that the rushing troubles that are facing the Redskins are much deeper than the person carrying the ball.

Portis is still a good running back on the backside of his career, but when the line can't hold and sustain their blocks worth a damn then I don't care who is running the ball, they will fail....

This is accurate IMO. The o-line had a really rough game yesterday, both in pass pro & run blocking. give them credit though for shuffling around & doing just enough to let McNabb do his thing & get a win.

Torain is avg. Sure he runs hard but he doesn't have great vision, lateral moves or burst. If a hole is there between the tackles he'll hit it, but it looked like on a no. of occassions that he missed bigger holes. On the screens he seemed out of place running in the open field.

Torain did seem to improve in blitz pickups, that's going to be huge as the season goes on.
