I would answer yes. When I hear news like this I do say a prayer for the people involved. I may not spend hours praying for them, but they are in my thoughts and prayers briefly.

Ruhskins 10-08-2010, 05:40 PM on a side note, to all those who make comments online about how your thoughts and prayers go to the vicitms families in situations like this, answer me this: have you REALLY prayed to whatever God you beleive in about haynesworth's family? Or is it just another thing to say that has absolutely no meaning, like RIP? Anytime I see something like this I say a small prayer in my mind, and I do think about how rough is it to lose a family member and what their family must be going through. I think it's just a human reaction that many people just stop for a second to think about our own mortality and how a loss affects family. Longtimefan 10-08-2010, 06:10 PM I pray for everybody everyday, even for those who are insensitive to the power of it. saden1 10-08-2010, 06:10 PM If the funeral is on Sunday he shouldn't play nor should he play if he can't focus and play at a high level. The NFL season is 16 games long...the decent thing to do is to show up for your teammates but if he doesn't I won't hold it against him. MTK 10-08-2010, 07:19 PM Family trumps all. Football can wait. warpaint 10-08-2010, 07:23 PM Half brother to be clear. A strong warrior would suit it up and get out there and play the game of his life in his honor. Favre played the DAY AFTER his father died and played one of the most heart felt games I've ever seen. Guess we'll see if Albert is a warrior. "Hard work helps heal grieving" Penny Chenery -owner of Secretariat There is nothing to clear up, my sisters are what you would say half but it pisses me off when people say thats your half sister not your real sister as if that makes a difference. If I was to lose one in a tragic way like this it would tear a hole right through my chest. My heart goes out to AL and I just hope he can find some peace some where from this awful death. SFREDSKIN 10-08-2010, 07:24 PM The way Shanahan handles AH during this tragedy, could be what mends the fences between them. RIP to AH's brother. 44ever 10-08-2010, 07:29 PM Lord give his family comfort. And good point SFREDSKIN. warpaint 10-08-2010, 07:31 PM I'm just curious if people are going to hold it against him if he doesn't play. I wouldnt or couldnt, we dont know how close they where. I remember following my older brother around and idolizing him as a child and I remember him being my protector when I would get in to trouble at school or at home. So I bet AL's mind is full of all these memories that they shared together. The bond between brothers is something real special and I am glad I have that bond. It sad day for AL and his family.
