Well. That was great to wake up to. Nothing like wanting to blow chunks in the morning.

Since 1996 this is illegal in the US and UK. Laws were passed regarding mechanically seperated meat, specifically stating that it is unlawful to use it in food for human consumption.
Due to FSIS regulations enacted in 2004 to protect consumers against Bovine Spongiform Encephalopathy, mechanically separated beef is considered inedible and is prohibited for use as human food. It is not permitted in hot dogs or any other processed product
Prior to 2004, the product could contain no more than 20% MSM, and even then it had to be labeled as containing it. Starting in 2004, it cannot be used at all for human food.

Looks delightful. Same stuff that goes into potted meat if I remember right. Remember potted meat and white bread sandwiches as a child.
Potted meat? Dare I even ask what that is? It just sounds horrible.

I make my own chicken nuggets for my family!
Take two pounds of breast meat (salt and pepper it) pound it out a bit to flatten it.
Then cube it up into nugget size bites.
Dip nuggets in Parmesan cheese then egg yolk then Italian panko bread crumbs and then back at 375 for like 15 20 minutes, turn once during cooking.
They freeze up well and are a good quick meal to pull from the freezer. My 2 year old loves them! Plus I can use all organic materials.

It's basically "creamed meat". It's horrendous. I want to ask my parents, WTF.

I'm going to try that today.
