NFC East or Least?skinsfaninok 10-07-2010, 09:42 PM Who will emerge from NFC Least? - NFC East Blog - ESPN (http://espn.go.com/blog/nfceast/post/_/id/19602/who-will-emerge-from-nfc-least) skinsfaninok 10-07-2010, 09:47 PM I honestly think we will win the East. I just think we have the best QB in the division and the best Coach. Dallas has more talent but Wade sucks when it comes to discipline. Philly isn't very good IMO and especially if Vick is fragile. The Giants offense looks as bad as any teams in the league. 10-6 wins the East NYCskinfan82 10-07-2010, 09:57 PM I like to keep hope a live so I see us winning our division. Dirtbag59 10-07-2010, 10:30 PM I wonder if the NFL should implement their own version relegation. I think if a division fails to produce a team above .500 then the automatic playoff bid granted to division winners should be taken away. Obviously this relates more to the NFC West, but I didn't want to start new thread on the subject. MTK 10-07-2010, 10:35 PM Least? So what's that make the NFC West? artmonkforhallofamein07 10-07-2010, 10:43 PM I can see us taking this division. We beat the Packers this Sunday and this thing is wide open. If we can get this team rolling into the bye week and make some nice adjustments for the second half of the year, then we can win this division in a shocker. It would be huge for us to win this division and would be a big jump and boost the future of this franchise. Who knows what could happen when the playoffs start. We do have a good HC and QB who know how to win in the playoffs. GusFrerotte 10-07-2010, 11:13 PM I wonder if the NFL should implement their own version relegation. Obviously this relates more to the NFC West, but I didn't want to start new thread on the subject. This is the thing about the NFL, it seems to want to breed mediocrity. The potential move to an 18 year season will decimate the talent pool over the long haul. Sure you could expand the draft, but really only players in the first three rounds are truly NFL grade. You might get a diamond in the rough in rounds 4-10(if they expand the draft), but you won't get good football. At this point I really don't see how the other divisions in the NFC are that much better than the NFC West. Detroit and Chicago both stink. The Vikes record wise suck. The South is the best with the Saints and the Hawks, but the Saints are not what they were last season. Our division is wide open, with a bunch of average teams duking it out. I wish I could honestly say we were better than average, but until we get consistent play on both sides of the ball we are average at best. Barring major injuries, I see the winner of the NFC South as the SB rep. Hog1 10-07-2010, 11:24 PM Least? ..........personally the Skins are leaving a very respectable trail of wounded and injured in their path........ LavaRnChad 10-07-2010, 11:26 PM I think we can win it if we start competing for a WHOLE game and not half of it. We've been very lucky to be where we're at right now but that type of luck won't keep winning us games. The Eagles may recover, but I doubt it, the Giants are very suspect IMO, the Cowboys are a question mark. I kinda wrote them off after seeing them shoot themselves in foot (like we do in 2nd halfs) for two straight weeks until they owned a very good Texans team in Houston. With that said, if we can play two halfs of football we should overcome a possible newly inspired Dallas team or a possible scrapping Eagles team when Vick gets back. This is exactly what Mike Greenberg said the other day, though I believe Golic then said that had never happened and what was the likelihood then that there would be + .500 team waitingbto take that spot. I think the East is wide open |
