Possible Reason for Carlos's Problems?

You would think if it was a vision problem, that he would also have a problem catching them in practice. From what I remember hearing/reading is that he has no problems catching them in practice, so I'm leaning towards the choke artist theory.

Practice is slower paced and more relaxed, no matter how hard you push them. Plus, we don't know if they're "clean" catches.

If he knew a vision issue was causing his problems, he would have had laser eye surgery by now, he can afford it.

The eye doc here in PA that I get my annual vision tests from (have 20/20 but on arthritis medication that requires eye testing as a precaution) has done Lasik for several members of the Ravens. He's one of the top eye surgeons on the East Coast. It's not uncommon for players to have laser eye correction, so I'd think the team medical staff would have diagnosed Carlos and had it corrected if it were a legitimate problem.

I think it's mental, he just chokes. He drops floaters and nearly EVERY ball that touches his hands. Even with bad vision, he should be able to feel what the ball gets there and should catch the softer passes. He doesn't.

Look at that video I posted with the drop vs. Dallas. Most high school CBs could make that catch...it was like it was intended for him.

Team doctors or Carlos himself would have identified any vision issues by now. I think he just suffers from SHS - shitty hands syndrome.

If carlos could get 75% of his dropped interceptions he would be considered elite.

Bad part is, he wants to get paid like an elite, but in order to get that all that money for a cornerback, people want that playmaking cornerback...

Folks, please give all you can to the Shitty Hands Foundation. We need to find a cure for SHS prior to the Green Bay game. Thank you for your support.
