I think we have a chance to win in Philly. Last week's game was an anomaly, as we were amazingly emotionally flat. But we've seen that players on this team can play quite well when they are motivated and I think they will be motivated this week. Plus we might catch the Pigeons napping the way that we napped on the Rams.

He plays nose tackle now as well? Awesome!
nope, but he helps keeps the offense on the field it will help the defense as well.
Yeah we have a shot this week. I don't think we're nearly as bad as we showed last week. Big division game this week, they'll be ready to play. (I hope)
You'll get everything McNabb has to give and he is a great leader. I think he can get the rest of the boys fired UP. I expect to see a much better effort.
HELL, I expect a win! HTTR

This game has so much significance for more than just the standings. The kind of reception McNabb gets going back to Philly for the first time is one of the things most people will be watching for.
They boo'd him mercilessly when he played for them. What more can they do........public stoning....
RELEASE THE KRAKEN!!!!

Emotions play a very small role compared to misued talent and coordinator who let a very good and soon-to-be-elite QB get to his head. Now he gets to face top-tier QBs who can beat our ineffective blitzes just as well as Bradford did.
That, and that two of our planned NTs suck. Kemo is not getting any better anytime soon no matter how emotional he is nor is AH going to play well when he's being told to rein in his instincts.

Anyone else looking forward to seeing a bit more of Torain in the game this week? He seemed to be running with a nice pace on Sunday, looked good. I wasn't all that impressed during the preseason, but I liked what I saw against the Rams.

You've got to be kidding me. Emotion is everything in football.

This team does have a tendency to play to the quality of their opponent from week to week. Bit us in the ass against the Rams, but it could work in their favor this week. Also the slight possibility that success starts to get in Vick's head. If he's not really one of the best 5 qb's in the league (as he's looked in 2 1/2 games) then the correction should come soon. Let's hope it's against the Skins.
