Any list that has Brees that low is insane.
NFL Regular Season Thread: Week 3MTK 09-28-2010, 12:18 PM Any list that has Brees that low is insane. Ruhskins 09-28-2010, 12:24 PM Any list that has Brees that low is insane. Unless things dramatically change, all top QB lists should start like this... 1a. Manning 1b. Brady 2. Brees MTK 09-28-2010, 12:28 PM Right now I would take Brees over Brady. SirClintonPortis 09-28-2010, 12:42 PM Crazy accurate to the OTHER TEAM. 87 TDs, 65 INTs is "crazy accurate"? It's certainly crazy. His INTs have been steadily rising every year, from 14, to 18, to 26 last year. At the same time, his competion % has been dropping from 63%, to 62%, to 60%. Add in 34 fumbles over 56 starts. He doesn't have Brandon Marshall anymore and his stats won't be there, as evidenced from his fluke 4500 yards in his last year in Denver to 3600 in his Bears debut season. 6 TD/2 INT so far this year...won't last. The Bears D is carrying them. Cutler is the new version of Rex Grossman in Chicago, they may win, but many games it will be despite having him...not because of him. Lol. You blame all of Cutler's decreases in production on HIM when he had a severe talent drop and coaching drop in 2009? This is 2010, dude, and at least the coaching has been elevated from crappy to near genius. Next incompletion percentage is not the best indicator of accuracy. Watching the damn games and see where the ball ends up or was supposed end up is better, and Cutler can thread that needle very well. The Bears have one of the shittiest o-lines in the league. Hell, it may have been worse than ours last year. Even so, there were plenty of plays yesterday where Cutler was nearly decked and he avoid the pressure to make near perfect or perfect throws to his receivers. Not only that, his BEST game was against Dallas, which is the best defense he's faced so far. Cutler's a Hall of Famer. skinsfaninok 09-28-2010, 12:45 PM Any list that has Brees that low is insane. It wasn't in any order that's just my top 5 overall.. Brees may actually be the best QB in the league right now.. 18 is still damn good though.. skinsfaninok 09-28-2010, 12:47 PM Lol. He has to win some Championships before that. MTK 09-28-2010, 12:48 PM This Cutler lovefest is getting a little out of hand. Ruhskins 09-28-2010, 12:50 PM This Cutler lovefest is getting a little out of hand. You'd think we're in a f'ing Bears forum. SirClintonPortis 09-28-2010, 01:04 PM You'd think we're in a f'ing Bears forum. I must be amazing at manipulating public perception. I'm a one-man propaganda machine. Watch, y'all will be bowing before me three years from now. Hell, I'll bet by the end of December, y'all will admit I have an eye for good QB play. I called it on Gradkowski, and I'm going to call it on Cutler. Ruhskins 09-28-2010, 01:25 PM I must be amazing at manipulating public perception. I'm a one-man propaganda machine. Maybe if he succeeds it will make good football to watch, but that's about it. I'm not going to be gushing over how good he is, because he's not a Redskin. I can appreciate a good NFL player, but that's about it, just appreciation. |
