Heyer or Jammal BETTER protect the blind side!

Redskins' Trent Williams out vs. Rams
Posted by Michael David Smith on September 26, 2010 12:46 PM ET
Redskins rookie offensive tackle Trent Williams was one of many players listed as questionable on this week's injury report, which supposedly meant he had a 50-50 chance of playing.

Now the chance has been reduced to zero.

Chris Russell of ESPN 980 reports that Williams is inactive for today's game against the Rams.

Williams left last week's game with a knee injury, although an MRI revealed no structural damage.

Are they going to move Brown to LT & Heyer to RT? And I wonder if Dock officially lost his starting job yet?

They haven't announced whos starting at LT or LG, yet. Looks as though Dock is about to lose his starting job to Kory who is playing well at the LG position right now.

I have a feeling the redskins are going to make a good statement in this game and leave with a two touchdown lead. Though I would like, just for once, we beat up a scrub team by three possessions like all the other elite teams do.

Well it's not like we're going to pass today. Personally I think the Skins want to use this game the tune up the ground and pound. So Heyer's pass protection at LT might be a moot point. Still it's times like this where I'm pissed that someone like Capers didn't develop faster.

Mcnabb will be the difference from seasons past.

Per Redskins Insider:
Stephon Heyer will start in place of Williams at left tackle. Jammal Brown stays at right tackle, and Derrick Dockery keeps his starting job at left guard.

Know of any stocks I should invest in? I kid I kid.

I hate that Williams will miss today, but if ever theres a week to get hurt it's this week.

I bet Stephon Heyer gets help all day long.
