Lotus 09-26-2010, 02:30 PM Does anyone have any links for the game online? http://www.thewarpath.net/redskins-locker-room/38630-texans-game-online.html skinsfan_nn 09-26-2010, 02:39 PM Heyer or Jammal BETTER protect the blind side! Redskins' Trent Williams out vs. Rams Posted by Michael David Smith on September 26, 2010 12:46 PM ET Redskins rookie offensive tackle Trent Williams was one of many players listed as questionable on this week's injury report, which supposedly meant he had a 50-50 chance of playing. Now the chance has been reduced to zero. Chris Russell of ESPN 980 reports that Williams is inactive for today's game against the Rams. Williams left last week's game with a knee injury, although an MRI revealed no structural damage. SirClintonPortis 09-26-2010, 02:50 PM Heyer or Jammal BETTER protect the blind side! It'll be another heart attack 4th quarter. 53Fan 09-26-2010, 03:17 PM How about we just kick their ass and be done with it. I'll be glad when the day comes that games against teams like the Lambs don't cause such pregame jitters. HTTR!!! SirClintonPortis 09-26-2010, 03:19 PM How about we just kick their ass and be done with it. I'll be glad when the day comes that games against teams like the Lambs don't cause such pregame jitters. HTTR!!! I don't think Heyer is much better than Mario Henderson or the up-and-coming Veldheer. McNabb better watch his back. 53Fan 09-26-2010, 03:24 PM I don't think Heyer is much better than Mario Henderson or the up-and-coming Veldheer. McNabb better watch his back. Fortunately McNabb's pretty adept at getting out of jams. He may need it today. I think Heyer is capable of having a solid game...whether he does or not is a whole 'nother question. skinsfan_nn 09-26-2010, 03:24 PM I hope you got 911 on the line. It'll be another heart attack 4th quarter. Not buying it. We will be in complete control today. No AED needed today! SirClintonPortis 09-26-2010, 03:27 PM Not buying it. We will be in complete control today. No AED needed today! Bradford hits the soft middle of the defense and shows flashes of greatness. You know it will happen. skinsfan_nn 09-26-2010, 03:31 PM Other inactives RI: Trent Williams apparently inactive for Rams game Rookie left tackle Trent Williams, who suffered knee and toe injuries during last week's loss to Houston, apparently will be inactive for Sunday's game against the St. Louis Rams. Williams practiced only on Friday this week and was listed as questionable for the Rams game. According to ESPN980, Williams is among the inactives in what would have been his third NFL game. That means Stephon Heyer will move into the starting lineup - either at left tackle for Williams, or at right tackle. That would send Jammal Brown to the left side, where he played for the bulk of his career with the New Orleans Saints. Also expected to be inactive is receiver Anthony Armstrong, who suffered a groin injury last week. That means third-year wideout Devin Thomas could see his first action from scrimmage of the season. Thomas has been used only on special teams through the first two games. The other inactives: John Beck is the third quarterback, new running back Chad Simpson, defensive end Jeremy Jarmon, defensive lineman Anthony Bryant, safety Chris Horton and linebacker Perry Riley. Thus, rookie tight end Logan Paulsen will be active for the first time. And, as expected, free safety Kareem Moore will make his season debut after missing the first two games with a knee injury. Defensive lineman Albert Haynesworth, who missed the Houston game with a sprained ankle, is also active today. People in the organization said Haynesworth appeared to be committed to practice during the week, and some expect him to have a significant impact against the Rams -- which would be his first impact in the Mike Shanahan era. |
