Plus the div. games are always an exception to the rule. Even though this is a new staff, there is a lot of knowledge of the iggles on this team. We've matched up well w/them the past few years though they swept us last year.

We'll show up this week. We always seem to play down to and up to the competition. I hate that.

Our disaster of a team nearly beat New Orleans and San Diego late last year, but gave a bunch of teams their first win of the season in what should have been the cakewalk portion of the schedule.

New Orleans' defense was not that good, just oppurtunistic. Their D-line is not that great, either.

San Diego pulled their starters. Rivers was carving us up and it would have been a blowout if Norv came in with guns a-blazing all day.

^ The Saints were still gunning for 16-0 at that point, they didn't lay down. We stepped up, despite the coach in your avatar.

I can't find the initial report on Twitter but a lot of people are saying that Vick is out for six weeks with broken ribs. Team plans on contacting Jeff Garcia.

Per Mike Prince:
Vick reportedly with broken ribs and could miss six weeks. #Eagles. Nothing confirmed

Edit:
X-rays negative on Vick, but pain persists

A league source tells us that the initial news on Eagles quarterback Mike Vick is encouraging. X-rays on his chest/ribs were negative.

But we're told that Vick remains in pain, and that he currently doesn't know whether he'll miss any games. The team has said an MRI will be conducted on Monday.

If he does miss games, a two-time former Eagles quarterback could be coming back. Jeff Garcia's agent, Doug Henrickson, told me that Garcia is interested in returning to the NFL, and specifically interested in returning to the Eagles.

It's unknown whether the Eagles are interested in Garcia, but they should be. The only option behind Kevin Kolb is rookie Mike Kafka.

And as we explained earlier in the day, Garcia can leave the juggernaut Omaha Nighthawks if Commissioner Michael Huyghue approves, and if someone pays the $150,000 buyout fee.

Nighthawks are beast with Garcia and Clarett. They'll miss him. All this talk of how the Eagles were better off without the injury prone McNabb, and both Kolb and Vick have gone down this year

Thats an awesome name for a team. Someone should make that their screen name.

From someone on the scene. RT @AshleyMFox In the locker room, Vick really struggled getting his right arm into his dress shirt.

Vick just got the kiss of death from Reid. A declaration that he'll be the starter when he comes back.

This is old, but I have to respond. New Orleans had one of the most overrated and shittiest D lines in the league. Campbell had a field day that day. He had very good pass pro all day that day.
