Obviously having Eli & the Giants lose tonight would be really nice & beneficial after our debacle today.
Yeah...its early in the season but we'll need all the help we can down the stretch in our division.

It doesn't matter to me. We are ultimately the masters of our own destiny as a team. I am not sure we have the pieces in place to be a playoff team this season, so I don't care who wins. I am tired of the Colts almost as much as I would love to see Eli and co go down. IF both Mannings get walked off or carried off the field that will make me very happy.

I agree to an extent. Maybe its just the fan in me that can't cheer for any of the other NFC East teams and still like to see them go down.
Walking into BWW at the start of our game today & seeing all the Dallas fans walking out with their heads down was priceless! LOL
I'll take any help we can get.

Brandon Jacobs could be facing a nice punishment from the league. He chucked his helmet into the stands in rage from getting benched. Then, the Colts fan who rightfully wanted to hold onto the helmet he could was practically assaulted by stadium cops to get it back.
They should have let him keep it. The player threw it into the stands.
Suspend the jerk for the year. He could have hurt someone seriously. It went 10 rows up, it was no accident like they're claiming.

Brandon Jacobs throws helmet into the stands in Indianapolis - Shutdown Corner - NFL - Yahoo! Sports (http://sports.yahoo.com/nfl/blog/shutdown_corner/post/Brandon-Jacobs-throws-helmet-into-the-stands-in-?urn=nfl-270794)
Jacobs has some serious anger issues.
As far as the helmet in the stands though, I thought the fan was out of line thinking he could keep it. Just because it goes in the stands it doesn't transfer ownership to the first guy who picks it up. It's still property of the Giants.

How is it different than a baseball bat, hockey stick, jersey (Gilbert Arenas), or an actual football?
They should at least track the guy down and give him a helmet after the game.
I don't have a problem at all with him keeping it. He didn't grab it as it flew off from a hit, he didn't swipe it; the helmet was thrown into the seats by a player's own doing. His problem.
If Haynesworth did the same thing for us, I'd say he's an idiot too and the fan deserves to keep the souvenir.
Well again, just because it goes in the stands doesn't make it up for grabs. The team still owns the helmet.
Anything that goes in the stands, balls included, can be retrieved by the league if they wish.
