Barrow should be back next year only because we really wouldn't stand to save much by cutting him.

Plus, call me crazy but I think he's still got some ball left in him, once he gets healthy that is.

He will be hungry when he gets back on the field. The LB corps will be tough once they ALL get healthy and play together a few games. The D will someday be very strong when everyone gets healthy. We know the scheme works as we see it from week to week. I am looking forward to the end of this year and certainly next as this team should start to turn the corner to greatness.

Good thing about Barrow is the signing bonus isn't terrible. I think we can cut him after June 1st, 2006 and take a small cap hit. Thank God.

Also, with Ray Brown, I'm not sure if he got a three-year contract or not, but as long as his signing bonus was low, it doesn't really matter.

Finally, I don't think we should rest any player that can suit up. These guys get played millions of dollars to be on the field, not to be coddled like girls. If they can run, no matter how much pain they experience, they should be out there.

Yeah I posed a question about Barrow in another thread, but I suppose it doesn't really make much sense to cut him...I just find it frustrating to sign somebody to such a huge contract and have them not play the entire season.

but with lavar already further injuring himself by possibly coming back too early, I know I'd rather not have the team risk their future investment in lavar by him getting back onto the field too early for a season that from here on in is pretty much determining how soon we draft next year.
