Pissed, by hey you never can go wrong with Sierra Bells Two Hearted is an absolute killer beer Two Hearted Ale - Bell's Brewery, Inc. - BeerAdvocate (http://beeradvocate.com/beer/profile/287/1093) ArtMonkDrillz 09-17-2010, 04:14 PM Tomorrow I'll be attending our 4th Annual Outdoormen Beer Competition. I think I described this last year, but every year I get more excited for it. Basically, we go camping and compete in 10 events, most of which involve beer in some way. 1) Chug 2 cans of beer for time 2) Hatchet toss 3) T-Hold: hold two 18 packs straight out at your side while someone else feeds you beer. Best time wins but if you don't finish the beer you get a time penalty. 4) Caber toss (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Caber_toss) 5) The Rally: basically run about 50 to 100yrds through the woods, kill a beer, then run back 6) Kill a beer, crush the can, hit it as far as you can with a golf club 7) Giant rock toss 8) 10' circle on the ground with 2 beers in it. Put on a blindfold, find and drink the beer for time. 9) Log pull 10) Das Boot (http://www.truebeer.com/Half-Liter-Beer-Boot_p_175.html) I've grown out my beard, bought a ton of beef jerky, and I'm ready to go!!! My wife introduced me to it--she graduated from Kalamazoo College for undergrad, where the brewery is located (well, not on the campus, in the town). She has family all over Michigan, so when we were on the west side last December, she took me to the brewery. I've got myself a Two Hearted shirt (seriously). We're going to see Animal Kingdom tonight (I'm hearing nothing but good things), I've got a mtn bike ride on tap for tomorrow, and then, of course, game on Sunday. That is extremely pimpish...such a solid beer. Got hooked a several years ago. Good stuff |
