All I know is this, I love stuff like this. I hope the cowboys talk more shit then their is shit in the world. I would freakin love them to start ripping into our team this offseason, it will make next year all the sweeter

Exactly, Portis. Snyder has owned the skins how long? 5-6 years? As opposed to JJ's 20? Give the man some time, jesus.
We'll see if Jerry make's any jabs when the games start!

It's one thing for me and other 'Skins fans to criticize Snyder. It's a very different thing when someone who doesn't root for the 'Skins criticizes Snyder. No one talks about my a-hole and gets away with it.
I hate Jones, I hate the Boys, I hate blue (except in the US flag), I hate silver, I hate stars (except in the US flag), I hate Dallas, I hate Texas, I hate cowboy boots, I hate cowboy hats, I hate anything that remotely reminds me of the Cowboys. I don't care now if we go 2-14, as long as we destroy those boys.

I've been saying that for years. :)

I used to be able to say that, but I can't anymore. My girlfriend is from Texas, but no worries guys..she absolutely HATES the Dallas Cowboys. Not saying she's a Redskins fan, but at least she's not all THAT bad! ;)

I believe Jones bought the Cowboys in 1989. That would mean he has owned the team 14 years so far and has 3 Super Bowl wins. The team he inherited went 1-15 that first season (remember who they beat on national TV?) and he got them to a Super Bowl win in 1993 if memory serves correctly.
So in his first 5-6 years Jones took a team that was just plain miserable and conned the Vikings into giving him a boatload of draft picks for Herschel Walker and used those picks wisely and built a three time Super Bowl winner which he then proceeded to dismantle and turn into a miserable team that went 5-11 three years in a row.
In Danny Boy's "reign", he took over a team that was knocking on the door of the playoffs and had a boatload of draft picks courtesy of Mike Ditka and he managed to build a team that has been in the playoffs once and just had a miserable 5-11 season. Oh and he builds and dismantles teams every year just to show how much he knows.
I would love to see Jerry Jones get creamed on the sidelines during a game; he is an annoying presence. But in terms of success, Danny Boy can't match what JJ did in his early years of ownership and may just kill the franchise here trying to prove that he can do what JJ did - - only better.
I think this is the fundamental difference. Jerry Jones knows football because he played football - and not just flag football at the annual family reunion. Snyder thinks he knows football because he watched it on TV as a kid and rooted real hard...

That discredits everybody's opinion on here who has never played.

All he said was I've been watching them spend money the past few years. It is an observation and one based on facts. We spend money so does he but on a less frequent basis.
When Snyder Spends money and gets to the playoff then you can ostracize him for his comments but until then JJ has a valid point.
I'm not so sure that Jones knows any more than Snyder about football, considering the Boys went through a pretty rough 3 years where they went 5-11 back to back to back, with Jones thinking he could run the show.
He has shown the ability to hire the right guy and step aside. It just took 15 wins in 3 years for him to realize that again.
Looks like Snyder also learned that same lesson by hiring Gibbs.
