Haven't ya'll ever heard the saying 'lurk don't post.' I even recognize a couple of guys from our own forum. Never understood that whole idea of posting in other team's board. I already get in enough arguments with fans of the team I follow. LOL. Longtimefan 09-17-2010, 06:46 PM Houston has bcome a bandwagon town now that they've experienced a little success in the post David Carr years. Some are going as far as comparing Arian Foster to Earl Campbell. I'd be the last one to take anything away from Foster's effort against the Colts last Sunday, playing at home. When you can run the ball the way they did, it demoralizes a defense and creates endless possibilities in the passing game. This week, they have to bring their show on the road. He won't run the ball on our defense the way he did the Colts, we'll put him on the ground. FedEx needs to be as loud this coming Sunday as it was last Sunday night, especially in the 1st & 4th qtrs. The Texans will go home feeling the same way the Colts were feeling when they left Houston last week. Kemo: awful Haynesworth: average at best. That's very rare, btw. He's usually doing something wrong. Holliday: WTF? Bryant: Inactive. They will do what they have to do with what they have to keep Arian Foster from doing to them what he did to the Colts. I'm going to have a little faith even though I know our run defense is not our best weapon. SirClintonPortis 09-17-2010, 07:42 PM I just watch NFL Network's Playbook. Sharpe, Baldinger, and even Joey T(!) picked the Texans. SirClintonPortis 09-17-2010, 07:43 PM Look for some fronts on Sunday that are not exactly 3-4 as we know them. I've only really done it once and that was on a Bronco's forum for the sake of finding out who was staying and who was leaving, shortly after we got Shanahan as a coach. I've probably registered on about 5 or 6 but that was due to the forums being locked and me being curious as to what people were saying about their team when we were either playing them or they were experiencing some sort of internal turmoil. I just watch NFL Network's Playbook. Sharpe, Baldinger, and even Joey T(!) picked the Texans. Honestly if I was an impartial national analyst looking at this game I would probably pick the Texans to. Make no mistake I'm going to root like hell for the Skins, and it's not like they don't have a good chance of winning. However when you look at it you have a team that despite their talent level has only 1 game under their belt with a completely new defense and a very new offense, against a talented team with a couple of years experience under their belt. On top of that the Texans dominated a very good team last week, the Skins on the other hand got by with a tooth and nail win over their last opponent. Then again you could say we have the element of surprise but that will probably only ring true for our defense. Longtimefan 09-17-2010, 08:28 PM I just watch NFL Network's Playbook. DumBoys in an actual news piece? guy's a tard Clearly we lose in the wild card round. |
