When your blocking scheme is predicated on the O-Line running to the second and third levels, it probably helps to have fresh legs spell the starters every now and then. That's my two cents.

On the other, don't you want some consistency on your line so that unit can learn to play with each other and gel as one complete unit? One would think that with a unit thus far struggling to consistently run the ball, playing musical chairs with the o/line is not a good formula to bring about the cohesion needed. Now, if this is being done just to keep guys fresh and only for short periods then I can understand. Pocket$ $traight 09-13-2010, 02:51 PM All this revolutionary...coaching....stuff? Anybody bounce this off Sherm lewis? Sherm Lewis was the best offensive coach we had last year. Ruhskins 09-13-2010, 02:55 PM I hope this is just a first game situation. I dunno if I want a musical chair o-line. skinsfan69 09-13-2010, 02:59 PM Lichtensteiger should come in to replace Rabach instead of Dockery... as long as the snaps don't get screwed up because of a change in center So tired of people bitching about Rabach. If you know anything about football then you'd know that blocking Ratliff one on one is going to be difficult for anyone. Rabach just isn't strong or quick enough to handle Ratliff one on one..he needs help. skinsfan69 09-13-2010, 03:00 PM Dock really isn't a Shanahan type of o-linemen so this really doesn't surprise me. And IMO Heyer is one of the most improved guys on the team. He deserves to play some. Dirtbag59 09-13-2010, 03:09 PM All I want to know is who was in when Portis starting breaking off 15 yard runs. davy 09-13-2010, 03:17 PM So tired of people bitching about Rabach. MTK 09-13-2010, 03:35 PM Ratliff is a load for anyone, especially for Rabach who's a bit undersized. Overall though I thought he was fine. |
