scowan 09-14-2010, 04:08 PM I have the feeling that what CP said is some how going to come back against him. Maybe a fine or something for speaking the truth. I know everytime I stand naked in front of a women they get all turned on and my body is not quite in the same shape of football players.
LOLOLOLOL First down you are killing me!
I agree with Clinton and everyone else here.... why are men or women reporters allowed in the locker rooms? Can these guys not have any privacy? This is a stupid story that we shouldn't even be talking about if the rules of common decency applied.
jsarno 09-14-2010, 04:10 PM I am all for anti sexual harrassment in the work place, but here's the deal...it's a LOCKER ROOM! Are male reporters allowed in female locker rooms when the women are half naked? Of course not, so why is it OK for females to be in Men's locker rooms? So here is the solution...WAIT UNTIL THEY ARE OUT OF THE LOCKER ROOM AND PROPERLY DRESSED and this won't happen.
You can't tell me she doesn't know exactly what she is doing. She dresses like she's ready to hit the club and find a guy, and then upset when people notice. Is there a place in this world that a guy can just be a guy? I was always taught the locker room was for the players. They can talk about whatever, they can get in scuffles, they can cuss, spit, fart...whatever...why should these players be taken away from that? Men are naturally sexual beings, but we are constantly forced to surpress that. As long as there was no touching, I say it's a locker room, and it is what it is. If you don't like it, don't go in there. I don't stick my hand in the mouth of an aligator then get pissed at the aligator for biting me!
jsarno 09-14-2010, 04:11 PM I am the least politically correct person in the world. PC people are people that cannot be honest, even with themselves...ironically they are the people that the truth hurts the most also.
WTF is a woman doing in a mens locker room anyway? Do male reporters go into WNBA locker rooms to get stories? If they don't then it is a double standard. I am going to the female locker room at Bally's to get their reaction on my position right now.
good job...you beat me to the point.
SmootSmack 09-14-2010, 04:15 PM SS....What's the story on the NFL investigation into the comments of Clinton Portis on the matter?
With this and his Vick comments from a couple years back, I doubth the league office is thrilled.
Having been in locker rooms with female reporters, even attractive ones I would say...it can be very difficult for them. But it's not just in the locker room. It's in that general environment.
That said most of the time the interaction is ultimately very professional. I would also say, don't be fooled by someone's dress. I know a few people who dress very professionally yet didn't act that way

Why does anyone "need" to be in there other then people like coches and players, trainers and owners?Stand in the Hall until they all come out or catch on the field....players need to be able to calm down ....relax.

Chico23231 09-14-2010, 04:36 PM Clinton Portis: Women in locker rooms are "gonna want somebody" | ProFootballTalk.com (http://profootballtalk.nbcsports.com/2010/09/14/clinton-portis-women-in-locker-rooms-are-gonna-want-somebody/)
The second paragraph is freakin hilarious, CP just cant help himself from saying something so obviously stoopid in such a matter of fact way...lol. League fine could be coming
skinsfaninok 09-14-2010, 04:37 PM She is Fine but The Jets probably should have chilled out a bit..

This is exaclty why I would never cut it in the "Corporate" world. I didn't find anything wrong with him speaking the truth.

They "need" to be there so Joe the fan (and Joan the fan) want to know what's happening all the time. If you think otherwise, you wouldn't be on a message board.
Also there is a 10-15 minute period post game before reporters are allowed in
And male reporters are allowed in wnba locker rooms
