You can't sit around and delay the time newspapers have to go to press or the news starts. It doesn't work that way.
It did for years before it became so competitive. If everyone had the same rules then the news would adjust as it always has done. Is there really that much demand for the interviews that people cannot wait until the following day or latter that night? A question like that might make an interesting poll.

Another thing no one is talking about is the fact she is reporting for a Hispanic Sport TV channel which is an audience the NFL would enjoy a stronger relationship with. Sanchez has that market appeal and now with this negative story it could possibly hurt that relationship.
Another thing is culturally, man, has anyone every seen Telemundo or an hispanic TV? The women dress super super down, Im talking super skimpy...its awesome. So this woman isnt doing anything out of the ordinary from where she is from. Which I once again think is awesome, I mean a$$ on her is amazing for such a skinny body.

In defense of Portis is looks a LOT worse in text then it does when you actually listen to it. Obviously Portis was joking around when he said the part thats being cut and paste all over the media.

I am one that thinks it is kind of one sided here. Women are allowed in the locker room when guys are showering and naked and it's to be accepted and guys are to be OK with it. Well, what if the situation was reversed. What if a guy journalist wanted to interview women volleyball player, softball players, or what ever the sport may be. Would we be allowed in the locker room during the showering, or dressing period. Would the women be ok with us walking around interviewing them while they stand there naked, drying off. Its a double standard that exists that is kind of shitty. I think Clinton just needs to clean up things a little when opening his mouth. I think he was just saying when you have 53 dudes, naked, showering what ever and a female reporter comes in, sure they are going to see mens bodies and see them naked. They are going to look, we are know that. I just wonder how acceptable it would be if a guy walked into a womens locker room while they were dressing, showering, how acceptable that would be.

Alright I'm confused. Some people are saying that men aren't allowed in women locker rooms to interview female players and some are saying they are allowed. Which one is it?

We live in a world now where just about anything goes, there's not much of a frown on anything if someone does it because they'll always find justification.
I'm from the old-school. I come from an era in time where females in men's locker rooms was virtually unheard of. It's something that would not have been discussed or considered, let alone implemented. Times have changed however, I'm just not so sure for the better.
I don't know the percentages of the pro & cons relative to the matter [maybe we should do a poll] but I do know there are a great many insecure people in this world [both male & female]. I wonder how many men can say they would have absolutely no problem with their wives or girlfriends being in the place of the female reporter. Come on guys, don't lie to me now, say it like you mean it.

They are. Take it from someone who's been with women in a men's locker room, and men in a women's locker room. They are
