Week 1: Redskins vs. Cowboys, Game-Day Thread

From the agony of defeat to the thrill of victory in no time flat! What a crazy ending--fitting for a skins-boys game. I am so glad we pulled it out (understatement of the year!).

I really loved what Boswell said about this game, basically, how nice it is not to be the stupidest team on the field for once. It's been a while!

As he put it: "Stupid no longer lives here anymore. It's moved to Dallas." Sweet!

Thanks for the info. From were I was sitting it looked like Kory L. played good, but Heyer I think played poorly. For me its always hard to tell how well a lineman did. Everytime, I think someone did well they cut him.

Even after the flag my wife and I were looking at each other -- "Does that mean we win?" "Do they have to replay 10 yards down?"

It took about a minute to realize "YES!! WE WIN!!!!"

Man the cowgurl fans today at work are taking some well deserved abuse. Feels so good to see them stumble in...a different walk of shame. HTTR

The stand up cowgurls fans are pointing towards their coaching staff as the problem...and the idiots are trying to argue the penalty and the fact the skins werent called for their holds...lol

It's laughable to me how all the Cowboys fans at my work today are making excuses for their team. And its not even all adults, but kids too. Parents are brainwashing these poor kids! One girl said we didn't really win the game because we didn't even score a touchdown, our defense had to. All I said was DEFENSE WINS CHAMPIONSHIPS and YOUR KICKER COULDN'T MAKE A 30 YARD FIELD GOAL. And magically she was rendered speechless. LOL. HAIL!!!:httr:

^Of course not. Neither has ValleyRanchDressingGirl or whatever her name is. DBoyz seems to have gone missing too. Talked plenty BEFORE the game.

I don't know what people expected from our running game last night. Dallas has one of the best front sevens in football.

Well, for sure they have one of the best ends coming off the edge, Demarcus Ware, and I think the best nose tackle in Jay Ratliff. Two All-Pros and a lot of solid guys around them. Not a bad outing by our guys up front.

sandtrapp will be around im sure. hes not one to duck or stop posting his thoughts b/c of one win or loss.

valleyranchgirl only shows up if the boys win. surprise surprise.

Well if we're playing that game, their only TD was a gift from our punter. They only had to go 30 yards.

The "Warewolf" is so good that he took a little nappy during the 4th. Now I know why Madden used to give Grandmama the "truck" symbol!
