yeh dude that sucks big time. at least our defense has played reasonably without some of its starters. a huge loss seems to be jansen in light of the o-line not being superb. that's the game though and hopefully we'll overcome it.
We're really missing Jansen.
We could really use his physical play up front leading the way for the running game.

Yeah, Latley its been apparent just how much Jansen meant to us. I'm thrilled that our defense has been able to keep up and play the way it has for hte most part with these injuries. Our offensive line is blasted right now.
Anyone think we should shut Coles down for the year so he can get his surgery done?
Who's to say Coles is even going to have surgery after the season?? Has he ever said that?
Last I knew about it was it's a possibly career threatening surgery if it's not successful so that's why he opted to not have it.

No He has never said that, I just assumed he was going to have it. However its news to me that it was career threatening possibly, so I could understand if he didnt want too now. However before I just learned that, I figured he would be doing it.

I too remember Coles saying that he opted not to go ahead with the surgery because it posed a threat to his career. However, I tend to think his decision not have surgery had something to do with his desire to go and election to the Pro Bowl.

Coles must be in a catch 2-2 situation...have the surgery and risk his career or play in pain and not be able to play up to his full potiential...

I imagine if Coles didn't have the toe problem there would probably be few CBs that would be able to match up to his speed man on man.

I think I remember reading something about how it would be 4-6 months rehab and that was going to mean missing all the minicamps and most of training camp this past year and he didn't want to do that, what with a new coach
